Excellent asset, excellent support

I've had very few issues with this asset, and it works really well for my RTS game.
Brendan is also very responsive if you have any issues.

Best fog of war on asset store

The only thing I needed that it didn't have was the ability to move fog of war map size / location based on more than one unit - think extremely large map situations(chunking is there but for a singular game object). This asset is still amazing and my complaint is very niche. Its a very performant LOS toolset that even works with HDRP - its written well so I believe I can make the changes I need for my own use. A+ job.

Undoubtedly, it is a good asset. But I have a question that : What is 'Fog Color Texture' on the 'Fog of War URP' used for ? Can a texture be rendered instead of solid colors ? If so, how can I make it worked ?

Yes, you can plug any texture in that field and it will render it over the fog in screen space.
You can also plug in a render texture so you can render whatever you want over the fog.

The publisher is timely and super diligent answering questions and actively updates still 9 years or so after initial release.
Implementation is super easy and is nearly drag and drop for a pretty powerful fog of war implementation.
Worth every penny

Simple, clean and direct. Implement into any project, fresh or existing without a hitch. Yes every project is different and you may have different setup and configurations, but rest assured, your fog of war will work once you "read" the docs and apply your readings to your configuration(s).
I've used Fog Of War for 2+ years now and implemented it in many of my projects. The first project I put Fog of War into, I had a small issue but with the direction of the Dev, was simple to resolve, implement and adjust shader's on fly for different storm cycles that lead to a complete fog of war over time.
There are other Fog of War assets out there, but honestly, this is the easiest and most optimized and efficient FOW asset right now and has been for several years.
Dev is very prompt and detailed with all his responses and works with you! Hard to come by these days!
