Hello ingon,
I must have missed your email, sorry for that.
Some updates have been made since v1.5.2. I don't know what error you got, but can you update Shader Painter and try again?
If you still have errors, please send me screenshots (contact@ciconia-studio.com).
Interesting idea with potential, but too clunky and buggy to use in a real production. Also, it does not support large mesh with tiled UVs outside of 0-1. A waste of money as it cannot be used in production, therefore why the 1 star. If it was more user friendly, not as buggy and could support tiled UVs it could go for a 5 star. Hopefully the developer fix those issues.

Although this is a great effort and idea - enhancing the designing possibilities in unity by painting various materials on the same mesh - I did not find it giving me more options than the free asset Blend Machine...
Shader Painter has more options though, like painting water on a mesh, but then I thought to myself - hey man, why can't you just use Polybrush to make small "depths" in the mesh, and add another Plane with a water shader (that I choose and control) to fill those in...?
So water painting becomes kinda unneeded, with more restrictions, as we are forced to use the water shader that comes with this asset.
Next ability is painting wind to make a mesh flow and move - awesome idea, but sadly, when i paint this over any type of tree with leaves, but frame rate drops to a jittering mess, and I can only play if I remove this shader from the tree...
So, wind is unusable for me, and I have a strong machine...
The only sunlight, but hardly worth the 50$ price, is the cutout feature - very neat! kuddos!!
This is my first time reviewing here, and I've only recently started purchasing more expensive assets on the store... I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the whole unity asset store experience - I wish there was a way to trial an asset for 1 hour before you commit to buy it, because you don't really understand the product and its limitations until you've tried it really...
It's a good effort though by the developer and thank you for trying and going in this way - we sure need better design tools in unity!

This tool is laughably buggy, and even if it weren't I fail to see a use for it. If you have a tiled surface, this tool will repeat whatever you draw on ALL THE TILES.

Hi,
Sorry to hear that Shader Painter was not able to meet your expectations.
But i can assure you that all layers are independent and the tiles numbers, of any layers, don’t affect the painting.
You have probably spent too much time laughing instead of learning ;)

Sorry but the licence doesn't include source files. Moreover, for better performance, scripts will be compiled to a .dll soon.

If you open up the Shader Painter window you can barely read the text with the Unity Pro skin. It's been like this for while. Please fix this.
Great stuff otherwise. :-)
