Once you use OPT you'll realize how much faster it is than manually CTRL+D'ing objects.
And the physics placement tool is really useful too! Just your project has to be compatible with entering play mode at that location.

I was having an issue where the tool was not working in physics mode when XR interaction was active in project. Seller was quick to fix and update. 100% recommend.

Holy crap! This is a huge time saver. Having the ability to just click objects into the scene is a freaking huge time saver. I wish I would've found this sooner. Takes about 5 seconds to learn how to use without even needing to look at documentation and works without issue.
I've been tediously placing items on a terrain for the past few hours. Grabbed this and accomplished more in 10 minutes than the previous few hours.
Excellent Job!

Easy level detail

josephdoran97on previous version 1.1
Really solid tool. Makes populating a level with random detail extremely easy. I hate manually placing debris and objects so this really speeds up my workflow.
What wasn't so clear until I got down to using the asset for myself:
When you enter edit mode, it's almost like entering playmode, except you'll place your objects.
After you're done and you exit edit mode, the prefabs you placed will disappear. However, once you click the "Spawn objects" button, your created objects will reappear in the level and hierarchy!
I had to email support about the disappearing assets and my lack of understanding and they got back to me within minutes! Great support!

However, doesn't seem to be working in Unity 2022. The latest supported version seems to be 2019 so keep that in mind in case you decide to buy the asset

Hi,
What's exactly not working in Unity 2022?
FYI: this version of Unity is still in beta.
This asset works fine in all release versions starting from Unity 5.6.5 to the latest Unity 2021.2.
Contact me through the support email with more details, please.

Starts the scene in play mode, rather than working solely in editor mode, which is not useful for projects of real complexity. For example, if scripts affect what is or is not in the scene that would break.
No easy way to select what to drop, it just picks randomly from what was assigned. Takes a lot of clicks to change what to drop.
Q and E keys are used to navigate the Unity camera in editor mode - for some reason the other controls were copied but not Q and E.
Doesn't do that much overall, spawning an object in the scene with physics is pretty trivial. The script that runs the asset is mostly editor UI, not much added functionality.
