Worth every penny

I bought this for my hobbie projects, none of which has ever earned me anything, but this asset was still worth every penny. It makes networking so much easier.

Great networking solution, give it a try

This one is the best out on the market. It gives you an amazing flexibility and amount of features that transform your development into much easier experience. You get a fully cross-platfom solution, thanks to DataNodes(!), which can be extended even further and pushed to it's limits. The thing that you can change your RFCs and still have them supported in your other builds, because they have a single DataNode argument and function signature did not change - that is truly amazing! I was even able to create my own custom TNet Client in JavaScript for a purpose of managing matchmaking and channels for game sessions. That Client is set up as a host of the channel and acts like an Authority Server for the game. That was possible thanks to the access to the source code and ability to understand and implement the same binary protocol that TNet has, and I must say it's an impressive one! Although there is no "out-of-the-box" support for WebGL connection through WebSockets, it is possible to develop a custom one, which was achievable thanks to common effort of the Discord community of this package. The community is truly amazing and provides you even more support directly from the developer of the package himself.

TN3 is one of those products that go unnoticed. They don't have much fame, they don't get talked about much. I suppose that the authors do not have much interest in achieving greater diffusion, I do not know. The fact is that it is an asset that works wonderfully. It is one of the few multiplayer network tools that have worked for me the first time and without any intervention. No errors and on any server. I haven't got it up and running in my game yet. There are so many options available in the market and you never know which one is the best of them. The multiplayer aspect of a game is not something that can be changed in a few hours, it is something very important and that generates a lot of dependency. Taking this last aspect into account, it may not be the most reliable product. If efficiency is valued, it is one of the best without a doubt. Since that decision is not the author's problem, but rather mine, I value the asset with 5 stars.

Good, but hope it can be better

I have always been a big fan of ngui, even though unity has a new ui system, I still use ngui. My network programming ability is very poor, so I bought this plug-in. After reading the documents contained in it, I feel that it is really powerful, but it lacks the login and registration function I need. I really hope the author can add a tutorial about the user system.

This is not so simple as i looks. I just need it the Save Load thing but this is a bit complicated for me.

This is a solid networking library that gives you a good foundation to build on top of. It has a steep learning curve but is well worth the investment. It has the flexibility to do what you need, regardless of the game type. Worth the money

I have used NGUI for 10+ years.....and I was always weak at net coding, but I have used Mirror, Photon Pun, Bolt.. I did like Bolt, but the support was, so so, and the cost I was not a fan of at all..... what was important in game development, was a proven solution, if you notice most assets are NOT used by the devs them selves in there own games, because most don't make anything...See AREN for TNET, does, he uses for ALL of his games he makes this is so important.... So I decided to buy it and my own regret as I did not buy it sooner, I was able as a weak at net coding person. to be able to get my game up and running in a few days..... I was able to do LAN, P2P type set up.. It also has Steam integration, which I have not used myself.. I did how ever use Epic Online Service and it works great, I used it with UE before, but first time with Unity and it worked nicely.. So I recommend either EOS, or Steam for P2P, but TNET, has its own set up... I set up an AZURE Server to test a VM, and it was up in mins... I plan to use my Qnap for my lobby connections for TNET.. I would say if you don't want COSTS, and easy LAN, P2P or pretty much nearly anything you can think of, I recommend TNET, because its so damn easy...His scripts are ALL commented properly...His CODE was so easy, a monkey can read it... So for most games, I would say use TNET, I been a believer after using it.... and i'm new to TNET.... when working with a team, or others, I'm a 30 year vet when it comes to programming, games, auto etc...and I believe in commenting... Alot of people I came across don't... Well when reading someone else's, or using your own, which at times, you forget over time, when commenting it makes it so easy to read, and speed things up... I know AREN is also an old school programmer, because he seems to follow this... he also uses proper coding structures... Most old school programmers do... No offense, you Tube taught programmers a lot of them, just don't understand this.... So, again, this is a proven solution.... and a no brainer for me, I been super happy with TNET over all.... ANYONE should be able to use, no matter your experience... Aren, I just recommend, to extend on some of your basic video tuts, and docs with a simple game... Just extend them.. I see a lot of the same questions, this would help you with support... and get more people going. PS: Alot of people I came across never heard of TNET, they seem to only know about MIRROR, Photon... Pun, Bolt , Forge and others... So, I believe this hurts TNET a bit as well. I think a ton more would buy it , if there was a bit more docs , videos, and just posts period.. I believe so many users are missing out.... Due to this issue.. Which I believe is an easy fix. Remember Unity is more of a learning game engine.... So, you will find that kind of people who buy this and other things... I personally use Unreal and other game engines for professional work..... So, this is why I feel many have not heard of TNET... which is a ashame.. My ONLY CON: Would be to add some more videos for basic game or sort.... I know you have Star UI I think its called. Which is also nice. but have one with some basic data, functions like shooting weapons, basic inventory. more using Data nodes.. Take that simple game you made and just add to it. This would help newer net coders a bit more. I think. I was able to figure a lot out by digging through Discord for questions others had asked... but, I would make sure to have a basic movement, shooting, inventory and maybe some basic game play.. very simple video.. Nothing more. That is what I recommend I believe this would help support to.

Only just started using it. Looks like the examples hold great promise. Source code is provided with good documentation and makes it look like a rather powerful tool. I should have bought this a long time ago. The only negative thing that I could write would be that the documentation may need a little work. Great features. Good code commenting. The documentation covers the basics. 4/5.

This asset is fantastic! Easy to understand, very well documented, great introductory video + great support and discord channel. The more I use it the more incredible I find it is.
