I found Fishnet to be pretty easy to get started with but it still has a lot of depth to do whatever you need. The documentation has been pretty good in my experience so far, and my only real complaint (although very minor) is that some of the tutorials could be updated or fleshed out more. I still highly recommend this though

Has a lot of potential and many improvements that Mirror lacked, but simple enough to convert everything from Mirror to FishNet!

So glad I chose them over the other! One more 5 star review. They have what you need. Steam support, Epic support, just host yourself and have folks join over IP, idk. Did you want something I didn't mention? They have that too! There Multipass was so easy to setup! The mot work I had to do was setup my stuff with Steam and Epic which has nothing to do with Fishnet. Fishnet made everything easy that they could. Just amazing work here! Mirror and Coherence and Photon stuff and Unity's stuff all might be great. But Fishnet is already great and easy and free. So why bother? For context I'm working on a coop game where I don't care about cheating at all(don't have cheaters for friends). And if I did want to make this competitive, they have features like a prediction manager and rollback manager for server authoritative games that do want to keep cheaters out. I love this asset! Try it!

I have worked with NGO before and I find this to be a similar library but much better documented and more straightforward.

I have been watching FirstGearGames since 2018. I am happy to see his experiences directly influenced a new framework. Fixed most of the known problems and kept it user friendly.
