The server system is fine.
There are two versions of this package.
Hopefully, a Pro version could support PlayerMaker(Hutong Games) for dev.

The console was telling me to rename all ur stuff then it told me the opposite. Your asset is good beyond that.

If you're working on a small project that needs to send small packets a lot, then this is perfect. This saves you writing ~2k lines of code. The support was great. The documentation was quite confusing because the code sample wasn't that straightforward, but talking to the discord server helped me complete my program.

Definitely worth checking out! Super fast messages, with minimal overhead. Gives you granular control over your messages, so you can only send what you really want to send. UDP/TCP too.
But the best part is the great documentation, and the super helpful Discord community. Pro comes with some handy methods, really makes your life easier with plugin management.

If you are looking for a clean and straight forward networking solution i can totally recommend this asset.
Performance is good and so far we did not encounter any bugs.
The community and dev is quick to respond and provides a lot of help.

Powerful and Simple

Following the in-depth Agario tutorial, I got up and running with a unity based server and clients within 2 hours. With the knowledge gained from that tutorial, I am now running my own game with the server running in the cloud (this is my first time making a dedicated server too). Before this, I had always been working with Steam p2p, but if I had known what I know now, it wouldn't even be a decision. DarkRift2 all the way.

If you want to understand what's actually going over the network, and you want to create the most high performance networking possible, use DarkRift2. If you want plug and play, you'd probably be better off with Photon.

I think that's a fair comparison! DarkRift prioritises performance over many nice-to-have features that Photon provides, it usually means it's faster and a little less restrictive but some things need to be homemade.

Cette asset est juste géniale! Elle permet de créer assez facilement un jeu multi sans limite de CCU.
Il n'y a pas beaucoup de tuto mais vu son potentiel, je suis sûr qu'elle va vite concurencer les grands du marché.
Son créateur est très actif et répond rapidement à la moindre question.
This asset is just great! It allows you to easily create a multiplayer game without limit of CCU.
There is not much tutorial but given its potential, I am sure that it will quickly compete with the big ones on the market.
Its creator is very active and responds quickly to the slightest question.

When it works, this is a great resource for easily creating an authoritative server and connecting to it in Unity. Unfortunately, the latest branch (2.4.x) has major bugs which have gone unresolved for months. One critical bug has been outstanding since early April 2019. Updates seem to add more bugs than they remove. As things currently stand, DarkRift is unstable and not suitable for use in production projects.

You're absolutely right, these bugs are unnacceptable. Unfortunately the nature of the bugs makes them very hard to track down and with each fix new issues are uncovered - sadly the nature of the optimisations that added the bugs don't lend themselves to easy debugging!
This past week we've chosen to revert the asset store package back to the latest stable version (2.3.1) so that new users won't run into these issues straight out of the box, which should never have been the case in the first place.
