The solution to this problem turns out to be changing the "PrefabLibDBUI" prefab to Static to prevent it from disappearing and not being able to read from the prefab database after game build!
Although there are some minor issues still present, the powerful side of this tool cannot be denied! It possesses a robust map editing capability and a variety of advanced object editing functionalities, it's the top choice for runtime map editors! I hope the author can continue to passionately support this powerful tool!

EDIT: The update is now live.
EDIT: Thank you for updating the review :) The prefab lib UI object need not be static. At least this is not intentional. The bug you were experiencing had to do with script execution order. Some UI objects were referencing other UI objects which had not been initialized.

I have had a great time with this asset. It has dramatically sped up my development and I find the API well documented and easy to use. In some cases, though, I have reached out to the developer for support. Granted, if I had spent more time on the documentation before contacting them, I would have found the answer myself. But I would be remiss to mention that the developer has never responded to my inquiries, which I find unprofessional.

This is a 5 star asset, no question about it. My only desire is that it came with any ability to save and load a scene once you are done perfecting it. The gizmos and prefab placement make level design much less painful than it would be without this tool.

I needed to build an in-game racecourse editor, and after careful consideration I chose this asset. I am very glad I did! I was able to integrate this with an excellent spline asset to build racecourses, and the work went more smoothly and quickly than I expected. I found the API to be designed well enough for me to react to asset placement by snapping nodes to the spline, which is important when building a racetrack. I’m using the editor to create the built-in racecourses for my game (“eating my own dog food”), and I love it.

Good product, does what it says and works well. Developer is very responsive and has implemented a few extra bits of of functionality we needed, usually within a couple of days - which is outstanding.
