The code is a dll and cant be fixed on new unity versions, and destroy some meshes.

Still experimenting but I was able to get this to work on 2019.4.4. I didn't realize it at first, but I had to select the material first; then I had the option to select the triangles that I wanted to cut from the mesh. I was concerned that this wouldn't work with my version of Unity but so far, so good.

Another one of those "must have assets". Saves me a ton of work as I no longer need to recreate or edit the meshes in 3d modeling softwares. This is the best and the quickest option for me. The instructions are easy to understand the support from the devloper is great too.

One of those assets you just need in your toolkit.
Great for breaking up assets downloaded from the asset store, but I also use it as part of my optimisation. First mesh merge and atlas a large group of gameObjects (using an optimisation tool like SimpleLOD or ProDrawcallOptimiser) - this ensures that everything's using the same atlased material. Then break up into more sensible chunks using MeshCutter so that occlusion culling can do its magic.
Developer is super fast to respond, and helpful, even when you ask stupid questions.
Highly recommended.
