It seems like paint mode is not working in Unity 6. How can I place objects on top of the tiles?

Asset is easy to use! Exactly as I needed! I needed some help with the asset import and I got help imediately...even tough It was my fault for the error... still he helped me and we resolved it in no time!

Easy and Powerful

I needed tiles that wrapped around a sphere for my game and wasn't sure how to go about that. I purchased this asset hoping to get a grasp of how to do that, but the asset provided much more than that and saved me plenty of time. Some things weren't working as expected in the newest Unity version, so I contacted the developer and he was very helpful and we sorted out the problems quickly and an update has since been uploaded. Thanks for a wonderful asset.

Pathfinding is sub-optimal at best.

Uses Dijkstra pathfinding which is vastly inferior to A* pathfinding. Really disappointed because performance takes a huge hit everytime you want to search for a path.

I just clicked on "Generate Planet" and here are the error messages I got: Setting the parent of a transform which resides in a Prefab Asset is disabled to prevent data corruption (GameObject: 'Tile'). UnityEngine.Transform:set_parent(Transform) Hexsphere:CreateTile(Vector3, List`1) (at Assets/HexPlanet/Scripts/Hexsphere.cs:266) Hexsphere:BuildPlanet() (at Assets/HexPlanet/Scripts/Hexsphere.cs:215) HexplanetEditor:OnInspectorGUI() (at Assets/HexPlanet/Editor/HexplanetEditor.cs:89) UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent(Int32, IntPtr) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object HexplanetEditor.OnEnable () (at Assets/HexPlanet/Editor/HexplanetEditor.cs:22) UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions() (at C:/buildslave/unity/build/Editor/Mono/EditorApplication.cs:200) If I skip over it and create another planet, this time it's some kind of pink ball with no texture that appears. Need to delete and reinstall. Still 999+ error messages. "Generate Random Region" NOT working. Impossible to modify scale. Brushes not working. Just a low poly ball...

Decent asset, but lacks some functionality

Unfortunately the tile limit is pretty painful. I would have used it, if it was not for that. Each of my planets have different size, so its use wouldn't be very logical.

Really amazing assets! But how can I use the planet tool? When I select the Paint Group ID or Paint Height button, there's no brush on the scene. Do I need to use Unity pro version?

Again another asset that you cant do much with. Who on earth wants a flat earth? for example, mountains... sounds like a good idea right? well because these is no actual mesh for each hex then you cant do much with it.
