The system is a joy to work with, the extensive effects library is helping with many of my gameplay ideas and the developer has helped every step of the way even making new scripts for my needs.

It is a great asset that gives you many opportunities. Yes, it is a bit complicated but the beauty is here, because you can do many amazing things with it (in a very short time! :). Also in my every problem, ARTNGAME gives great feedbacks and resolve my problems very quickly. I am glad to work with this asset!

More power than other particle systems...

And Particle Dynamic Magic is NOT JUST A PARTICLE system. From the outset, I was worried that this system wouldn't be as customizable or flashy as some of the other systems on the store. Luckily, I was wrong on both fronts.
PDM is setup to get the job done and allow almost any systems you can think of! A lot of other systems constrain you to pre-made "dumb" effects that just go poof and are gone with little interaction. This system, on the other hand, is all about interaction. You can do advanced collision detection, decals, ribons, AI, and of course, really pretty swirly things.
In my specific use case, it allowed me to attach feathers or hair to a mesh and interactively cut/shave them off based on my cursor's location. Name another system that would let you do that!
If you want your game to be INTERACTIVE, I really recommend giving this a try. As other reviews have mentioned, the developer gives better support than any other I have worked with and he has been doing this for a long time so his products are always a safe bet. (check them out too!)

Hi,
One of the main powers of the system is the exposed variables, so that is not possible to remove as would take away from the system and its direct programmability. That is why i have so many samples to just drop in game covering all possible use cases.
If some of the samples don't work in Unity 2017.2, please contact me in my support email or forum to solve immediately. The last version i submitted with was Unity 5.6 which is the fully tested one.
I offer constant support, so for any question please feel free to contact me as well. I will check Unity 2017.2 and submit a version for the new system asap.
EDIT: I just tested in Unity 2017.2 and every demo scene seems to work fine, so please let me know for specifics of the issues you have experienced, so i can address them.
Some very powerful stuff going on in here that enable you to create some great effects.
You do need to be careful about how much you use as it's easy to lose frames if you try and do too much. Not a problem with the effects just a case that they are doing so much more than any other effects you've tried before!
The author is also super helpful and responds very quickly to any queries you have.
The only (slight) bugbear I have is that the asset generates a load of warnings in Unity 5.4 due to obsolete/deprecated code.
Hopefully the author would consider updating the code to remedy this.

Hi,
Thanks for the review. About the warnings in v5.4 i plan to adapt the asset for v5.4 for the next update, and i can also send the fixed pack before the store release in Google Drive when it id done.
About performance optimization, the system has various ways to handle the particles, for example there is a new in v2.0 single source emission using the Attractor script and pooling in the dynamic decals (single material case).
Also the forces (e.g. turbulence, attractors) can be limited to specific particles directly or assigned by tag and also use multithreading and spread to frames to further enhance speed in the more demanding effects (the parameters are adjustable in real time, so the options can be LODed as well, e.g. spply multithreading to distant systems)
For less than half the price of the some of the more so-called "professional" assets you get three times the amount of professional quailty. Not only that everything is done within unity rather than a separate program - simple to use, beautiful effects and efficient - and best of all there is no need to bake your assets! I forgot to mention unparreleled support (and the developer takes critique of his assets seriously) - some people take weeks to answer your questions or some don't answer at all. Buy his whole collection today!

I'm looking for a Particle System, that is made by game objects. I'm watching this for long. Now, it has a nice offer, grasped it without second thoughts. The author is very responsive. And, I had great time with his GL system before. Can't wait to explore his PS for more details :)

Easy to Use Particles!

Each particle type can be selected from a gallery of A LOT OF CHOICES. Once picked your particles (really more than just particles) pops neatly into the scene hierarchy organized in a folder. From there it's easily modified in the editor or script. It also helps that the developer is super friendly and approachable! :-)

WHY TO SPEND MORE, IF THIS IS THE BEST TOOL EVER !?
I Loved the work this developer did making a menu with presets !, lots of lovely presets
to start with, i am using for 2 mobile games and now for desktop and the results is great!
you just need to click and go !, you can duplicate the asset and modify as you want!,
works fast and compatible with unity 5 ! thats great!
*** one of the things that makes me happy is when a developer thinks about everything,
because when i saw the particle running with MULTITHREAD logic, man ! i got crazy !
i can use lot of them without getting the system slow !
Many thanks for this great asset for the great price !
