I don’t understand how to properly connect to the phone and assemble the apk file, I need to make an application that will calculate the area of an object from the phone’s camera, like a graduation project

Great work, needs workarounds but full Opencv available

Its really great to have OpenCV in Unity with most of the processing options available, it's sad that is unmaintained.
Edit: I checked how it works for android and in addition to the "Unsafe code" option enabled my projects were built with Mono (2.0) tough the included notes states otherwise.
The notes are in Documentation\Documentation\OpenCV+Unity_Notes.txt, it was the first thing to read that I forgot until recently
when I was looking for more info.

But pretty sad that the only free asset for OpenCV in unity is no longer maintained. It still runs on windows, but i got problems on android, maybe someone have a quick solution for this? Or someone got other solutions for makin this work on android too?

Good library but since it's no longer actively maintained, it has some bugs. I had to spend hours fixing the bug with this plugin to work with my Unity project on Apple Silicon Mac and still no luck.

Better than the other OPENCV Asset in Asset Store (Paid Version).
Works but has some "rough" edges.
"Rough" means :
1) Had to add -unsafe file to Asset Root.
2) Load all The scenes in Build Settings.
Go to each Scene and load in Unity and the click
add to Scene Build.
3) WebCamera script would only point to my OBS cam NOT my Desktop Webcam. So you must fix this.
To troubleshoot this I used //Debug.Log(webCamDevice.Value.name);
//what is the camera index
//Debug.Log(cameraIndex);
4) Had to use wayback machine to goto original website.
However the documentation is the asset documentation folder.
5) This version(V3) is not current.
Overall:
for being "free"...this asset got the job done.
Cons : none it was free and documentation was relevant and got me going with only a few hiccups.
Pros : Free. Works. Did I mention free ?
For the user in the reviews that says it doesnt work on there M1... Did you check the documentation ? There is a section pertaining to this subject.
