I highly recommend it, it meets all the needs, all that was needed was to read the songs that are in "files", other than that it's a show!
I had doubts about the asset and I tried to contact the developer and he answered me well and solved my doubt!

Very convenient tool for integrating ios music

The example is very clear, using ios native can be easily integrated with ios music, and the author is very quick and detailed in answering questions
Although I encountered some problems with the limitations of Landscape, the author also provided me with an alternative solution as soon as possible.

Thank you for the review! For anyone wondering about the mentioned landscape issue, this is specific to Apple's MPMediaPickerController class, which the iOS Music asset uses. The alternative solution that the reviewer mentions is a way to override native view controllers to render in landscape which is a solution that applies globally to the app, meaning any other third-party plugins with native view controllers will also be rendered in landscape, which may or may not be desirable for your specific use case. It's great, and the developer is not so responsive but he will definitely help you!
Also in two years I see he keeps updating the asset!

Good asset but needs improvement

The plugin works fine, it does exactly what it claims to do, however, there are few points that might affect the quality of the plugin that I think it's worth mentioning:
- There is no API documentation, just a readme file with few paragraphs, which made it challenging at the start to figure out the flow of the code and how things are connected together.
- No method implemented for requesting permission from the OS, and you cannot know whether the user has granted permission or not, you are just left clueless about the whole thing.
- The permission for accessing the media library is asked at the start of the app, there is no way to delay it until you actually need to access the media library.
- lastly, the developer was quite responsive at the start but after a few emails, he just stopped responding.
I hope you consider fixing these issues to make the plugin suitable for market-quality apps.

Hi,
Thanks for your review. I just want to respond to your feedback as there are a few things that need addressing:
1) API documentation is provided in a PDF included with the asset. I have noticed that this has been omitted from the package by mistake in a recent update. I have submitted an update to restore the documentation PDF.
2) There is a function provided to request permissions - it is called SetupiOSMusic() and can be called from any point in your code. Apple doesn't provide a way to prompt for permission again once it has been denied, this is so apps don't spam users with permission prompts.
3) To have the permission prompt appear when the user interacts with the music library, simply don't call SetupiOSMusic() - the default behaviour is to prompt for permission the first time the user accesses their music library.
4) I reply to every customer email. I can't find any recent emails that haven't been followed up on. Please know that if you send me an email, you'll get a response!

I've purchased thousands of dollars in assets from the Unity Store over the years, and never before has a developer made me a custom version of the asset, and not just that but within a day, sent straight to my email. Definitely purchase with confidence, if you have issues, the developer will make it right.

When i opened the Demo Scene and clicked on the "open IOS Music and Play with Audio Source " button it initialized the apple music screen but without any songs, i cant search for any songs or add any song. I hope with your quick support you will be able to help me asap
