A nice open-source narrative tool
wsmartysukon version 1.1.8
A nice solution for making a dialogue system. It is not a game-ready solution, so if you are looking for something like "put in project and play", you should take a look for something else, but as a programmer, I am so glad I found this tool, cause I can flexibly integrate Ink assets in the way I personally need. Small issue: please rework external methods. The fact, that you need to bind them for the whole asset even when you need it only in one knot make such methods almost useless.

It's a good tool for creating text in a game. It is perfect for creating using TMP and creating bold/italicized text

Some concerning bugs but functional overall.

khiemgluongon version 1.1.8
As of writing this, I am using the latest Ink Integration package and the latest Inkle release 0.14.1. For Windows 11, on Unity 2022.3.18f. There is a bug specifically concerning the _inkStory.BindExternalFunction (()=>{}) call. In that it simply does not recognize the EXTERNAL flag, but it can recognize global variables, so instead I have to bind various methods to a list of recognized variables, which was more a hack that BindExternalFunction could have handled. The asset works great otherwise, and I personally find text based dialogue editors more robust than node based ones.

I love and adore Ink. Put in a little time over on their website understanding what Ink and the Unity API can do for you, the possibilities for narrative games are mindblowing. I cannot imagine taking on a heavily narrative project that isn't powered by Ink now. Incredible for Inkle to release this for everyone to use!

easily integrates to create dialogue

Viredaeon previous version 1.0.0
Really wanted to have a fleshed-out dialogue system in my game, and this really helped add dialogue to the level of complexity I wanted. The way to integrate meaningful choices with the dialogue is a bit involved and could be simpler, but I'd rather it be complex but granular than simple and ill-fitting.
