Great base and works as you expect it to. However, the documentation is a bit lacking and it is using the old input system. The developer haven't answered on my e-mails.

There is many problems with this plugin. For example there's no possible way of generating a forest. I tried to contact the developer for some answers. But after my problems got probably too complicated, the dev ghosted me.

Does not work at any Zoom Level properly, has large blocks of rectangles instead

There is a bug with the tiles where holes are present. Multi polygons are not rendered correctly and it throws an exception for all tiles that have holes. I have even sent you a fully detailed project. Please answer back. Doesn't mention anywhere I see in the description whether this package works with URP. Having already paid for it, I am not stuck with something that is incompatible with my project.

Followed the documentation, had it up and running within a day and included it in my app + reviewed and approved by Google and Apple within 2 days. Does what it says it does and is stable. The documentation is helpful but you will still have to think for yourself and come up with solutions at some points ;) Saved a lot of time with this.

Decent for Pokemon Go, but not much else

There are some pros and cons: Pros: -Decent documentation -Good examples (can copy/paste in most cases) -Easy enough API (for basic implementation) Cons: -LONG wait on any support requests (days to weeks), and even then developer may just say, "I don't know how to help you" and ghost you... -Plugin can only fake directional light. If you are trying to use spotlights, point lights, or anything inside the environment on a scene with 3D terrain (for instance street lights, headlights on cars, etc), it breaks, and cannot accept light in some directions -If you don't know the order in which things are drawn, you spend hours tracking down why the API is not working. And then the developer may send you down a road that is not relevant to your problem. Here's your answer: if something is not working properly, look for the class which can trigger other functions after everything else is drawn, and coordinates are set. That's most likely your issue. Unless it's lighting. On that, you're out of luck. Overall, my company wasted 5-weeks going back and forth with the Developer regarding the lighting issue and a few other issues (which we had to solve ourselves) before abandoning this plugin and moving on to something else. Again, if all you're doing is something like Pokemon Go, or the like... it's very quick to get up and going. It just didn't work for our purposes due to the lack of responsiveness on the part of the developer, etc. Unfortunately, if the developer was more responsive... we'd still be inside the time of a refund before discovering the lighting issue. But we're stuck with the bill at this point.

The best 3d maps asset for Unity

It is incredibly hard to find a working maps asset for Unity. After a ton of research I finally got the chance to try the GO Map asset and so far I love it. It appears to be everything I hoped for in an asset like this. If you plan on doing a realtime gps map, this may be one of the more viable options for unity.

I currently develop a location based game and completed a few scenes already. The map part was the part i feared the most because i was completly clueless how to start and couldnt find enough informations like guides/tutorials. It would have been hard work and taken months to build something like this from scratch. Luckily i came across with this asset, which provide already all the basics and even more. Thanks for the great work Alan! Your the best.

The tutorials help a lot to learn how to custom your map scene. I just miss Google Maps data for buildings, but it doesn't depend of this asset because Google maps don't offer (yet) a vector tiles API. It would be great if there was another way to merge what Google Maps offer with this vector tiles system.

Let me tell you that this asset is the most complete and easy to use asset that I have bought for Unity, you have your project working in no time, and open the possibilities to create amazing things, I'm so happy :D!!! I had a couple of questions that the developer resolved for me very fast, so I'm in love with this asset, what this gives you, and for the price, this is practically a gift. Trust me, this should cost a lot more money for sure.
