Easy integration for the Femto Bolt camera
15 days ago
SymbionProjecton version 1.20.1
Super easy to get set up and explore interesting ways of controlling Unity using a depth camera. Highly recommended and also great communication with the developer.

Everything's been working fine, but I need help with one thing.
9 months ago
trainerhoonon previous version 1.19.1
Everything was working fine, but I need help with one issue.
After replacing my GPU with a GTX 3060 and running the project, the camera was initially not recognized.
After updating the SDK DLLs to the latest version, the camera is now detected, but the body count is not being recognized, so I’m unable to test avatar movement.
It seems that body tracking and depth sensing are not functioning properly.
I’ve already replaced the DLLs with the latest version.
For reference, the Orbbec camera is properly connected and confirmed to be working correctly in the Orbbec viewer.
Please respond if you see this message—it’s an urgent issue.

Please email me the Editor's log file after you run and close a demo scene, so I can take a look at what's going on under the hood.
I've tried every Kinect package on the Unity store and even tried implementing my own interface. This one is by far the most stable, feature rich, and most up to date package.
I've been using it for years and it is always a pleasant surprise to see an update from Rumen adding new capabilities (ex: Femto Bolt support).
As a bonus, they are always responsive when contacted.

There is an issue when connecting and disconnecting the Femto sensor.
a year ago
wprlffltmon version 1.20.1
I'm having trouble with the UserMeshDemo scene provided in the Azure Kinect and Femto Bolt Examples for Unity app.
If you connect and disconnect Femto repeatedly, at some point you will see the message "Runtime Error!" "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"
The function names used when connecting and disconnecting are as follows:
KinectManager.Instance.StartDepthSensors();
KinectManager.Instance.StopDepthSensors();
I didn't do anything. I just connected, disconnected, and reconnected.
At some point when I try to reconnect I get a "Runtime Error!"
Sometimes symptoms appear after one try, sometimes it takes 100 tries to appear.
Is there any way to solve this problem?

Sorry, but I couldn't reproduce your issue. I tried UserMeshDemo + StartStopDepthSensors-component for more than 10 minutes each. There was no crash. How long did it take in your case for the crash to occur?
Please find and e-mail me the Editor's log-file after you get the crash, so I can see what exactly has caused it.

I recently changed from the Azure camera to the Orbbec Femto Bolt camera. I had no choice thanks to MS. Anyways this was an ordeal for me, as I am not a strong coder. However, Rumen wrote very clear instructions and made it very simple. When the new camera was still not work, I emailed Rumen and he immediately sent me a simple fix, and now it works great. This type of response is so critical and appreciated. I absolutely recommend the Azure Kinect and Femto Bolt Examples for Unity
and RF Solutions. Excellent product.

Thank you very much!
I quite satisfied with the asset. I do have one question: how to realize detecting a gesture conducted by two users?

To your question: Please look at the code of SimpleGestureListener-component in KinectAvatarsDemo1-scene. If this is not enough, feel free to e-mail me.
