I bought this asset to set up a connection with a HC-05 Serial Bluetooth module on Arduino. After about one afternoon of tweaking and debugging I got it working. It runs beautifully now, but there are some flaws in terms of usability and cleanliness in this asset.
-I can go into more detail if you're reading this, dear developer just send me a message-
Mostly breaking c# code conventions, not providing code flexibility and lacklustre documentation that omits a lot of gotchas I would've loved reading before starting. Provided examples are also rather basic.

I have succeeded in connecting with HC-06.
However, the connection with the HM-10 failed.
Can I connect with the HM-10?

I'm sorry, but HM-10 is BLE. Usually they don't support Serial Protocol. Please check other libraries for that

Multiple connectivity is unclear

The android to android connection sample works fine but it's unclear how to make a multiple device connection as there is no example and the documentation simply suggests you must "tweak" the aforementioned sample.

Multiple connections have no hidden methods. The library doesn't care about if you called connect on 2 devices at the same time. For more details, please contact/respond to my message

Doesn't work

Does not work at all, not even the demos included. My bluetooth module works with a serial port but not with this asset.
Documentation is nice but unfortunately cannot rate it any higher because it simply doesn't work.

Hi there,
We have a question about the loading.
In the connection of Android to Android, we've set BluetoothAdapter.OnDeviceDiscovered += HandleOnDeviceDiscovered; for Handler on BluetoothAdapter.startDiscovery() .
It does work on ver.2018.2 but doesn't on ver.2018.3.6f1
The version which we are using is 2018.3.6f1 and it can't load the data.
Can you kindly fix it?

The user here is asking about the functionality of discovering nearby devices. Google has introduced a couple of changes on Android 5.1+ that might cause bugs for this functionality on some devices. If you are facing issues please switch to API level 22 (from "unity player settings"), and send me a message with your device name. A general fix is available but release will be delayed (it need extra setup steps, I need to make it simpler to release it). Please notice this happens only if you are using "discovery demo". Connect/read/send are working as expected.
I'm not sure if the issue I'm referring to is related to your problem, please send an email.
