Two shaders types are included, "Universal" and "Ultra". The "Universal/Default" shader will be applied to created Super Text Mesh objects by default, but "Ultra" shader is configured for rendering effects (dropshadows & outlines) in URP and HDRP.
SRP batching is not yet supported on the "Ultra" shader yet, but other optimizations are already in place.
Super Text Mesh is a powerful, easy-to-use text renderer that replaces Unity's built-in Text Mesh and UI Text components!

All Things, Considered
Auto wrap makes it easy for designers to set the bounds of a text box, and configure behaviour for overflowing text. (Cut Off, Ignore, Auto Pause, and More!) Making a text box that follows the size of text is easy to set up too, with included sample scenes demonstrating this and other ways to get the most out of Super Text Mesh. SDF Fonts are supported, and STM has many options for rendering dropshadows and outline effects. There's also a global toggle to disable all animated text effects in your game, for easily-added accessibility. New to Super Text Mesh is the 'Ultra' shader, which can render smooth (or blocky!) extra-configurable outlines and dropshadows in a single pass, allowing it to work with all Render Pipelines!
Automatic Options, Deep Customization
Smooth text reading, customizable animations, and even audio tools are built-in to make your game's dialogue text worry-free. Are my programming decisions not right for your project? Customize however you like with events! Even custom tags and text effects can be created with events, forgoing the need to edit my included source code. (Which is of course, also an option!)
Simple Interface, Strong Controls
It's fast and easy to implement Super Text Mesh into any project. The inspector controls fit right in with Unity's default assets, with no need to create custom text assets. (If your font works with Unity's "TextMesh" or "Text" components, it will work with Super Text Mesh!) There's support scripts for tools like Playmaker and Adventure Creator in the docs and on the forum, and assets like True Shadow are supported directly!
