But most of it is now obsolete with important issues with the new input system that you'll need to rewrite a ton of stuff to have it be used with the new input system. If you are just trying to learn from it make sure you are learning for old input system. But a great resource to learn from. But if you are looking for something you can use, this ain't the one. If you can figure out a way to jimmy rig an Eventsystem (New)/(Old) switch so that if you use the UI or your mouse touches it, it switches between a old a new, or something else, if you are advanced this is for you, as you can update it yourself. But better off writing your own. Abandoned. For sure.

A simply excellent option provided for free as a handy, useful addition to one's unity toolkit.

The project seems to be abandoned and if you don't know programming you cannot really personalize it to your convenience. The project was an amazing thing when it was release, but now its not maintained anymore regarding the controller input. If you import it with StarterAsset controller from Unity, lastly import the Starterpack to override the Item&Inventory settings. And backup your project! 40/100 when hitting play the scene gets corrupted.

the quality and robustness of this asset's comparable to some or even most of the assets out there, or even better.

Certain aspects are complex then some are easy to understand would not recommend for beginners, but it is everything you could ever want rolled into one. definitely worth the download!

This package is good to get an idea of what you want to do but it's unnecessarily complicated in some areas, the code is not great and imports 5 or 6 projects instead of just adding the classes and the project is completely abandoned and has no support.

Not working correctly with Unity 2021
