Has still a way to go, for improvements yet ...
Good:
-Appreciated, for small size of the asset to add to any project and no red exceptions (scripts named smartly)
-Convenience of adding the custom north object to radar if desired so it will be anchored to it as the north ...
Can be better:
-Event system is required for demo scenes to run, it seems, something you don't want to see or any standard assets or third-party dependencies, to get to run
-It's not very modular and there is more than 1 script to get it going (this is where you give up on any radar script implementation) (better to use Unity's tag system, guys)
-Inconvenience of adding that additional "tracked object" script to any object (prefab) you want to track - this task is simply better done by Unity tags, and that's why Unity tags system exist - no one has the time adding track radar script to multi asset based projects prefabs
-pricing is too much regardless the features and needed improvements mentioned in mind

Really greate asset easy to use and and set-up.
Just one question, is it possible to have a image in the background for the map. e.g. if there are islands, could I create an image of the islands and have that as a map background?

Decent compass, here's a fix for the size of trackers

To fix the tracker hud icons not shrinking back down again when coming back into range do the following. In RadarObject class at the top of BinnacleScript.cs add the property:
public bool sticky { get; set; }
Then in the monobehavior for BinnacleScript method DrawRadarMarkers at line 146 change the code to:
if (distanceToObject > stickyMarkerPosition){
if(distanceToObject < markerCull){
distanceToObject = stickyMarkerPosition;
radarObject.icon.transform.localScale = new Vector3(1, 1, 1);
radarObject.sticky = true;
} else if (distanceToObject > markerCull) {
radarObject.icon.transform.localScale = new Vector3(0, 0, 0);
continue;
}
}
else if (radarObject.sticky)
{
radarObject.sticky = false;
radarObject.icon.transform.localScale = new Vector3(0.5f, 0.5f, 1);
}

Really liked the Binnacle asset on Unity. But having great trouble making objects disappear once no longer relevant to a task.
Deactivating the object that carries the tracker script does not disappear the marker on compass?

Up and running in 5 minutes with this.
Easy to follow with clear instructions.
Supplied scripts are will written and properly commented.
Was able to easily rig it up to cope with on-foot and driving in my open world prototype.

I wasted lots of time and money digging through minimap assets. There are SO many that are either unsupported, overly complex, overpriced, or just plain bad.
Not this one though, it's everything I've wanted in a minimap!
<> Easy setup, drag and drop prefab and add a couple components for objectives.
<> Just works, no messing with finicky default values, works perfect right out of the box.
<> Solid performance, well crafted.
<> Awesome support! I gave Landan a shout on Twitter for a new feature, he had it up in no time. He's fast, friendly, and reliable :)
Seriously, you'll be SO thankful you bought this within 5 minutes of importing it into your project :D

This asset was exactly what I was looking for and it was so easy to set up and get amazing results. I had one question, which the author answered quickly and now I have a minimap, radar, and compass integrated into my game and it took only a few minutes. Well worth the price.
