Of course, it gives you the web-view. That is expected. But it does it reliably across platforms, has been kept up to date with security patches, and has consistently been extended with better integrations into Unity. We've used Vuplex to allow players to extend our game's functionality. Vuplex provides a familiar canvas for folks to work on, and, behind the scenes, gives us the means to communicate between the browser and the game so we can provide a rich API for mod makers to use. The one thing we are waiting on is Linux support. It would be great to do a native build someday, but even now, things work great via Proton. Save yourself time, and pick this one up.

I was trying to figure out why clipboard API doesn't work in the webview but couldn't. Sent a query to the dev and they immediately provided a workaround to it. I spent half a day repropose it to fit my need and it worked!

A little pricey since most platforms are sold seperately, but works wonderfully, and with great performance.
