Render pipeline compatibility

The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. AutoGen - Skybox allows you to quickly generate beautifully detailed skyboxes from a simple text description. This tool will help you to quickly create and prototype different environments/skies from short text-based queries. Generation is carried out by an AI system using neural networks.

Contains a multitude of built-in styles such as:

- Fantasy landscape

- Cartoon

- Low poly

- Sci-fi

- Space

- Scenery

- Hyper realistic

- Painting

- Digital art

- Interior environment

- Any environment you can think of can be generated, so get creative with it!

* This plug-in does not support generating skyboxes during runtime in a standalone game outside of editor mode. For queries regarding generating them during in-game runtime in a final product (such as in an app or game) please contact us directly.

Technical details

The skybox generation window can be opened via Window -> AutoGen SkyBox.

1. Enter a description of the desired skybox in the 'Prompt' text field.

2. Select a skybox style in the 'Style' drop-down field.

3. Hit the 'Generate' button.

4. View the resulting skybox and hit 'Set this Skybox' to apply it to your current scene.

The resulting skybox textures are strongly dependent on the accuracy of the description. The chosen style also has a great influence in the finally generated skybox. It is always recommended to choose a skybox style that will allow you to create beautiful skyboxes without a long description.

* Generated skybox material and textures are saved to the local project folder at 'Assets/AutoGen-SkyBoxes'.
