You think that after 5 years from the launch of the asset and seeing that the last review was 2 years ago, you think that maybe the asset is no longer relevant or that the developer no longer offers support. I guarantee you are sorely mistaken in this case. I had some questions for Song (the developer) and I approached him on the forum! He answered me the same day and the same happened when I approached him directly on the email address. I can only salute and appreciate his work because it is truly of quality. As for the asset, it is incredibly well structured and full of options to help you create a top down game with bells and whistles. Song, thank you for the fantastic tool.

I have been using this toolkit for a couple of months now to build and iterate on prototypes. It has been so easy and due to how expertly it has been developed. As if that wasnt enough, i reached out to the dev with a technical question and got a response very quickly. The response was very clear and concise which helped me to easily fix my problem. I will be making sure to follow this dev and support his future products.

Lots of really useful and well thought out elements for creating a Top Down Shooter or even a Sidescroller shooter. I had a couple questions about how to do Gamepad implementation and emailed the Developer and quickly recieved concise and helpful support. The included demos are really fun and make useful starting points.

Great place to start learning. You can take this project and make many different types of games. With a little more polish - if could be perfect..!

Bought this on a 24hr sale the other day and have to say it's one of the best kits I've gotten yet. Everything is so modular, clean and well thought out. All of the elements you might want in a shooter are available as options from perks and power-ups to weapon types and menus. The demo scenes, while being addictive in themselves, show you lots of options and there's even a side scrolling shmup/bullet hell demo as well. LOTS of possibilities with this nifty package so get it and make some fun stuff!

Using this code I was able to get a decent shooter up and off the ground in a few days. There's a lot to the code. It handles most things you'd want from a standard shooter and the non-standard things haven't been to hard to add so far. Plus if you have any problems the developer is quick to respond and he's friendly and helpful. If you're building a shooter this is a fantastic place to start.

Can you add multiplayer supprt?

A really powerful template, gives me significant boost from starting point in my project. I was able to change the code structure to allow multiple turret, weapon mode in few hours. Thanks to a relative clean design, it shouldn't been too hard to modify it to UNET multiplayer.
