I love game creator it is really fun to make games with.

I bought this asset with Game Creator 2 modules by mistake, but found this mistake after some time. Asked Catsoft to refund saying "I bought Game Creator 1 with Game Creator 2 modules", but no response. ;-( Well. it was my mistake and it took quite some time to figure this mistkae anyway. I think Catsoft should disable this asset, leaving other Game Creator 1 assets available for Game Creator 1 customer support.

Like the rest of the others.. I bought this asset only to find out they're dropping support in favor of a newer version which you must buy full price again.. seriously stay away from this developer.

Greedy developer! Also given how they just abandoned this and started charging full price for the next version. There is nothing stopping them from doing that with the next version and any that come after that! BUYER BEWARE!!!

So far it has been the best engine kit I've worked with. It is easy to set up actions and parameters, and the YouTube tutorial video series has been extremely helpful.

While this may have once been a good product, it does not work on the current Unity version. The creator has abandoned it for his new product, and still charges a premium price for this outdated one. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Well, its been over a year or two now, i stopped paying attention. Never did recieve support / updates to the broken save system in regards to stats + inventory module. I did as he requested, sent him the repro and all details to fix it, but alas... all this time later, GC1 is still the same broken version. It humors me much how all the reviews here from G.C.1 were used to bolster GC2 initial reviews. It appears as if this has been changed now. What even was this magic...? I never bought it, my review should have never shown up there. I definitely did not recieve it as an upgrade. Additionally, i notice my original review was removed. Don't see why, there was nothing offensive or personal, unless simply stating that this product and developer are bad is *offensive*. (Or, perhaps it was pointing out the crossover reviews from the two different products) As others have pointed out, its pathetic this is still sold at full price and completely unsupported while G.C.2 is also being sold, with all new modules, and all of us that bought the first one, and refuse to pay again, got dumped and left behind. It's really just not a good tool outside of learning purposes. And forget about support or fixes to anything related G.C.1

Why do they have this listed in the store for $65, if they are not going to support it anymore? They just moved on to GC2. If they are making an upgraded version of GC1, shouldn't everyone who purchased GC1 get this upgrade? What answer does Catsoft have for the people who spent $65 on this asset?

A bait and slip from a shady developer. Missing many basic features that where lied about. Instead of fixing after you buy fullprice module, he has moved to a new iteration called Game Creator 2, that is full price and missing even more basic features. This developers discord will silence anyone asking for support for GC1 features promised. Do not support.

It truly saddens me to see this asset abandoned like so.. Game Creator 1 has not only helped me stick to & stay interested in Game Development to begin with, It has also helped me think more like a Game Developer, Stepping outside of just using Triggers & Actions acquired by Game Creator, but learning other Parts of Unity better Just so I can use them later in combination with Game Creator. Honestly have learned quite a lot since First using this asset a little over a year ago, but i feel like the 2-3 years of support were a little short-lived.. This Version of Game Creator as of now, Has way more To offer, Including tons of Third Party Modules (Which now GC2 Is catching up, slowly), Hundreds of Custom Made Actions, Triggers & Conditions on the GC1 Hub, And Even Modules that were never included in GC2, and nothing showed that it would be included in the GC2 Core, which is the main reason I didn't go out and buy it straight away. Regardless GC2 looks great and congrats on that! But i really do think the community who still uses GC1 over 2, deserves a chance to use it in the latest versions of Unity.. Use Unity 2021.3.11f1 For the Best Results & most compatibility with other Modules and assets as well for now. Cheers~
