Now I can test my ideas quickly, and the modules give you exactly what you need to build the foundation of your game. By the way, the Discord and Hub are full of amazing people willing to help you. I really wanted to love Game Creator 2, but there’s a major issue with the character controller. When the player drops off an edge, they instantly reach terminal velocity, which makes movement feel unnatural unless the environment consists only of smooth terrain or stairs. I reached out on their Discord and was told this is a known bug. I was hoping it would be fixed in the latest patch, but unfortunately, it still hasn’t been addressed. I will update my review if this is resolved in the future.

I am the type of dude who likes to write his own code but I got Game Creator 2 and fell in love, So much so that I am 3 plugins away from owning everything this author has to offer. If you are serious about making your game this is the plugin you need. All the plugins I have purchased from this auther is worth every penny.

I bought this plugin quite a while ago but hadn’t used it until recently. Over the past few months, I finally started exploring it—and it’s honestly a hidden gem. I really regret not diving into it sooner. It feels like the developer has paved a near-perfect path for users who don’t code. As long as you understand the design philosophy behind it, you can quickly create impressive results—and the quality is surprisingly solid. Price-wise, it’s not cheap. If you buy all the modules at full price, it can be quite expensive. But on the flip side, considering what it enables you to achieve, I’d say it’s well worth the cost. (And let’s be honest—you’re probably waiting for a sale anyway.) As for tutorials and documentation, I totally understand the complaints in the comments. They’re valid—I struggled a lot at first too. If you’re brand new to Unity, it could be even more overwhelming. Fortunately, I’ve been using Unity for years and am familiar with many of its core features. Once you align your thinking with GC2’s design logic, a lot of things start to make sense naturally. Plus, AI tools now understand this plugin quite well and can help out with many things. Of course, if the official tutorial were more complete, it would be perfect. In short, GC2 has helped me reach heights I never thought possible. There were games I wouldn’t have dared to attempt before—but now, with GC2, I feel confident enough to take them on.

Highly recommend. Is a very powerful tool and allows me to do things I previously didn't even consider. Also has a great ecosystem of supporting assets and tutorials on Youtube. It is expensive to get everything but you can buy the modules as you need them.

I avoided this asset because I didn't like that the modules were split up. Wasted time with another TPS Controller that use Playmaker for 3-6 months (cost me time) Bought this and I see the errors of my ways. Modules give...modularity. You can pick and choose what elements you want and the core GC2 (this asset) just works smoothly man Each module SPECIALIZES in what it does (shooter, inventory, etc). You can try to do it yourself, but would you rather save time or money? I'd rather save time and sanity, hence why I love this asset Some comments say it "lack documentation". I STRONGLY disagree, I've never seen more organized documentation in my life ( for each module too) Pros: +GREAT discord (shoutout Marti) +Patient devs who work with you +The modules allow you to pick and choose what components you want. Cons: -None. For the core GC2 asset, I have 0 complaints. Youtube videos explaining everything in detail and great docs

I'm a retired IT guy who never worked as a dev. I've always been interested in building 3d things and so have recently taken a deep dive into Unity. Like a lot of you I use ChatGPT and it has given me a bumpy tour of the tools available to make game building even easier. My current stance is that none of these tools are clear winners. I'm sure some of the niche products work okay, but GC2 is the only thing I've found that actually gave efforts a lift. That said, GC2's documentation is scandalous and much of the software is ugly, especially the GC Hub which is just a hot mess. I would be tempted to give this product only 2 stars but it seems to be the best of a bad bunch.
