This asset is useful. It has a good system but it also lacks from some aspects. -Firstly this system uses Text instead of TMP pro. You will have to change this manually. -There are some improvement can be done to multiple locations. First one is localReferences script. Not sure why all referencing to gameobjects rather than its components. Like in the code its using GetComponent all the time which is not efficient. - Also database system need improvement too. Instead of having 1 big image database dividing this will help finding correct image faster (thinking for 1000 image ) -Referencing database images by their id name is painful. I wish there was a drop down menu that can directly take the reference from the enrty and show us all the list in the node. Or maybe have images as thumbnails and make user select that? - I wanna make a free roam area in my game and this system doesnt have that exactly. It has object spawn section but its too generic. For free roam with map this need adjusting accordingly. -I think creating choices menu need a bit more freedom. Instead of using specific buttons maybe this can be manually created (per scene/node) with coordinates given with rotation etc.. This can provice better control over UI. On the whole i think it has a good system. I think worth the money.

I cannot reach the developer and it doesnt work with the new unity editior versions. Sad...

如果你是想要簡單的UI設定可以使用這款，可以自己串插程式碼進去很自由大家可以考慮看看，但是我還是希望提供舊版的packages，因為LTS版沒有2020版本，還有說明書希望可以在完整一點，不然真的不懂怎麼操作。

Choice Engine 2 is a great asset for beginners who want to start making theyr own 2D VN and Text based games. I really like the sample as it have all the parts I want to put on my game. The documentation have being a little bit of the problem in the pas but now its coming around. And with the support you get from the developer its just excellent.

할인하길래 사봤는데 사용 가이드 영상도 저게 끝이고 샘플로 넣어둔 씬만 봐서는 활용하기 힘듬 샘플로 있는거 플레이 해봐도 저장 불러오기 부터 오류나서 한번에 3개 저장되어 있고 난리도 아님.. 그냥 안 사는거 추천 무료로 쓰고 있는게 더 설명도 친절하고 사용도 쉬운듯.. 환불 됐으면 바로 했음

A great asset made by a very supportive and polite author. I have been working on a visual novel game as a side project. As a developer, this asset serves as the base for my game and helps me learn the rope in Unity 2D. ChoiceEngine provides enough basic functions that a visual novel game needs while the code is very clear and customizable. The manual needs some improvements as it is a little bit hard to understand unless you are familiar with Unity and able to skim through the code. Nevertheless, you can directly ask the author, whom is very helpful and responsive. I think his/her attitude greatly makes up for this drawback.

The manual is useless, references to in-game objects that does not exist. The more important one, the database, where is it? If you try to find it into the in-game objects list, you will not find it. Only three pictures in a quite long manual. Do you think the people is in your mind? I would have loved to use your plugin, man. But please, before publishing plugins you must understand how to make manuals, firtsly.
