This is an excellent asset. I have already incorporated it into my product.

Im working on an older project and really need the legacy older version of this asset if possible ?

For some reason my character FALLS OVER whenever i stop moving, and if i get up it sometimes turns weirdly or moves at fast speeds for a couple seconds.

Hard to control, the camera control is always active instead of when right-click is held down, and animations don't seem to work. I'm sure all it needs are a couple of updates and it'll be better.

Extremely bloated and full on janky code that is a total headache to deal with because of "as-is" nature of the package, so if you want to even slightly change a single feature prepare to change way more than what you need.

I teach a class for beginners and use this asset to help them quickly get up and running. Being able to customize so many aspects in the Inspector and switch between first-person and third-person are very welcome. An excellent asset, even more so for being free.

Very nice character controls and I love the clear custom editor windows. The approach is well thought out and it comes with nice demo scenes. One of which contains a little coin collecting system.

This is good for starters, however when just walking or sprinting forward, it is not a straight line as it moves you left slowly. Also, when using this, you cannot use any HUD elements, like interact text on a canvas.

It was looking so promising, it was easy to edit, it had first and third person, it had advanced jump settings, but I don't know what was going through their head making the first person camera. They use lerp or something and it makes the camera very hard and unresponsive to control. I tried to change it but pitch yawl and all that is notoriously confusing so it makes this asset pack just useless for anyone who wants a good fps controller.

It seems to break depending on how you set up your scene. Some of my objects don't have mesh renderers or mesh filters, because they don't need them, or, they are the parent object that contains the other objects with my meshes. This causes footsteps to break because it's checking for these meshes only on the parent it's touching.
