I was hesitant on buying this asset, because I bought 2 other combat packs and no luck until This wonderful asset. I am a new developer, it was painful not gonna lie. I spent a day trying to figure out linking invector to abc lol. After my breakthrough I am passed that step and I can't tell you how happy I am with this. I am still learning it. I am very happy with this purchase, it helped me even solve my invector problem. I could not even figure it out until I got this amazing product. So far its modular and make sure you look at the menus hard cause my problem was one drop down menu linking another combat asset. The dev on discord was responsive even though he was going for the weekend . He tried helping me. Once I had my breakthrough it's been sorta easy. I think this might be the easiest to learn, it took me a day, when invector took me a week or two to get it. I definitely will buy the dual wield later cause this asset made me very happy customer!! To me it's gold 🪙

I love this kit. The versatility, the depth, the scalability, the compatibility, its just a great, well done, and useful kit. I was working on a project that required very quick turn around and if it weren't for ABC Toolkit we would not have met our deadline. It is also very easy to expand and use your own code where needed which was key for us meeting our deadline. ABC does a phenomenal job at being easy to integrate with other systems. To the point that one of the other kits we were using was fighting ABC, but ABC was not fighting it. ABC was like "It's ok. You can do that." The other kit was like "But I don't want you to let me do that so easily!" So it just goes to show the thought they put into making this kit open and accessible compared to how other kits make it difficult to integrate. And lets not get started on how great the support is. They are responsive, kind, patient, and just all around cool people. The only thing I could say is there is a learning curve because it is so in-depth. But once you know how to use the interface and all the features, you fly through and end up creating new abilities and attacks and status effects in no time at all. I highly suggest this kit to anyone thinking about it. You will not be disappointed.

While this asset has potential, the description is significantly misleading. It advertises the ability to craft bows, as well as features like dual wielding. In reality, these are only accessible through separate add-ons, which is quite disappointing and should be made clearer upfront

Based on the reviews and video, I thought I was getting something amazing. What I expected to get out of the box was quick sword combat, but none of the prefabs came equipped - and the animations that played caused null references at times, or the animator would just freeze and the player slides around stuck on an animation for a second. The 3rd person shooter example with a gun doesn’t work with a joystick. It fires anywhere but at the enemies. The enemies seemed sluggish and animators broke at times.. If you’re expecting to use this and retain quality in terms of out of the box gameplay, look elsewhere. I’ll be using animations and effects from this package, not the mechanics.

This asset is great if you want to make a fighting game and the developer is great at supporting it. He will help you if you have any problems and it is pretty easy to use.

I am currently using this asset, and had to modify a lot for just quality of life and Unity 6. No updates to this asset in over a year. Edit: Thank you to the author for still being active and responding to this. Will try my hardest to remember to update review once the new copy is out!

combine this great asset with game creator 2 and the possibilities are endless so many mechanics and great demos jsut one thing i would like to see in a future updates are mobile controls then this asset would be even better :-)
