Hello, In general PolyNav is quite performant unless the navigation map is really very complex (meaning hundreds of irregular shaped nav obstacles). If this is not the case in your project please get in contact with the support email or in discord if you prefer and I will look at your issue. Best regards.

Easy to setup, Easy to Use

Very easy to set up and use, no complaints. Performs well if you keep the amount of obstacles to a reasonable number. First try I created an obstacle for each tree... did not go well as the scene has over 2500 trees.. Hand drew the obstacles (there is now about 25 total) and runs great. Great buy IMO

我在做一个2d地下城,每进入一间房间就要进行关门和开门,在关闭房间的入口和出口时,我会去操作PolyNavObstacle对象是否可见来完成。这时就会有很明显的1~2秒卡顿,不知道该如何解决

The pathfinding works, but I got several drawbacks: 1) I used it in a Unity 2d WebGL game. The pathfinding behavior greatly changes depending on each machine CPU power. 2) Using it in a complex environment - 60+ walls, 10+ objects moving simultaneously and different speeds -Increasing speed generally causes oscillation on stopping, and many times objects cross walls. Fine tune of parameters to avoid these problems is useless because of problem 1 (when running in WebGL and another computer, behavior is quite different than running in Unity Editor)

Good asset with discord support

I am using this asset to create a tower defense game. I like how it uses existing unity functionality to create obstacle colliders. Its easy to use and has a cool offset feature which allows you to add padding to each obstacle collider. The developer responds to questions and provides support in the discord server. Overall a good asset!

Really easy to use

I'm making a very simple game with my son and we wanted to add click-to-move navigation to the player character. This asset made it really easy, and actually means we can remove a bunch of the code we were using for keyboard/joystick controls. Thanks!
