The example they provided works well, but it's very difficult, perhaps impossible, to modify the script to fit your needs or make it fit your project as is. As an experiment, it works, but for developer needs, it falls short.
If the agent is selected on inspector, unity3d crashes.

If you're looking for an alternative to NavMesh, it's not here.

mrbrendenon version 1.3.1
As the headline states, this isn't going to replace Unity's (terrible) NavMesh package. I'm not saying that this asset is terrible, but the actual 'Pathfinding' package is not as fast or "innovative" as the page describes. It's very slow and can tank your performance down to single digits.
For programmers who want to learn how to create their own pathfinding, I think this is a great reference. For designers and producers who are looking for a ready-to-use AI solution, look elsewhere.

TheGameLearneron version 1.3.1
I am new to Unity and learning about path, NavMesh, etc. Using this made me understand how a AI might move. Plus it was Free!!
I kept changing the locations to see it find paths... It was a good Asset

Alex_Snyderon version 1.3.1
Fantastic, lightweight pathfinder. Completely modular, easy to use, works well with a few different projects, only needs colliders. For the low price of free, dev is missing out :D

When a wall is within your AI's radius where shouldn't be walls there is no possible Path cause right at the beginning the rule "don't go closer to walls then x" is ignored cause the wall is closer than x
I hope to have explained it understandable :D
There will be a big update soon with a lot of features and bug fixes.
