It's an amazing Asset, the flocking behaviour looks really great! Only Problem I have is with the GPU version. It doesn't work and no fish are spawned (I'm currently using 2019.3 and HDRP if that makes any difference....) Thank you, Cheers, Onat Edit: It now has HDRP support! works great, and now with the compute version it's even faster. One last thing that would make this perfect would be the ability to customize the shader (maybe a shadergraph version/node ), as I have a rather complex fish shader built in shadergraph, and the choice I have right now is either using the CPU version with my shader or the GPU version with the custom shader you provide which only accepts a single texture.

If you try to add a new controller after deleting (or even just stopping) the first one, the fish just swim away in a straight line and never come back. You can test it in your demo scene using the basic controller: - Start scene normally - disable controller - add a new controller (add it as disabled so you can drag the target in without causing an error) - enable new controller - watch fish swim away :D It looks like as long as there has been a controller running previously, you can't ever add a second one. In my case I need to destroy, instantiate the controller several times when the user enters / exits the scene. Any help appreciated!

Had an issue with the asset but the author was super responsive and fixed it super quick, it's now working for what I need and would recommend :) !!

Hi, I'm testing out your great plugin and have a question. Would it be possible to add support for changing the number of fish dynamically in runtime? Currently it throw an error at row 231 in in FishFlockController2.cs.

Hi UglyDuckling! Yes, you are right, it wasnt possible to edit the fish amount dynamically, but I've updated the asset a few minutes ago and I expect the update to enter soon, I ran through this error and fixed it. Thanks If you have any more questions you can email me contact@elvismd.com

Hi ro-inkyu! Thanks for purchasing! No, you can have two GPU controllers, I have an update almost ready to go that explains it on the documentation, here is what you can do to have more than one: You must have one material for each one, for each script you have of the GPU controller, you must have a material specifically for it, it seems that when you have the same material, since the material is not stored on some mesh renderer, it will always update the asset, then it will always have the behaviour of the lastest added controller, because all of them will share the same data. So you must have one material per gpu controller script, you can copy the existing one that is already referenced on the inspector of the script, if you have anything else you want to know do not hesitate to contact me at contact@elvismd.com , I can help you with any issues or questions you have :) Thanks Elvis Leite contact@elvismd.com elvismd.com

Phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe this. It brings the fish to life smoothly and with a great easy to use level of detail which completly blew me away! From fully customizable random fish scaling to evading and attacking sharks in the water, the level of control this script has is incredible. A highly detailed labor of love from it's creator. Keep it up!
