You can easily use this plugin the way it is intended. If you are looking for some adaptable components you can use between your project, you won't find this here.
Documentation is light, code is bearly commented.

You can easily use the vision cone separately (VisionCone.cs) , or the detection separately (EnemyVision.cs), you would of course need to integrate with your own code to use those components if you don't use everything from the asset like if you have your own character movement. There are public function and UnityAction to help do that.
If you need help, you can contact me by email or Discord so I can know which part you had trouble integrating and I can improve the code or doc if needed.
That's great, but it's not cool enough at the moment. Currently, there's only one axis and it doesn't work in real-time. For example, if this script is used on a robot or radar, its eyes can rotate 360 degrees, so this tool is no longer applicable

I bought this for my 2D top down game, but unfortunately it was more suited for a 2D platformer. Sure there is some workarounds, but this required skills I did not have. I contacted the author and he was very supportive and in the end refunded me without questions asked.
I hope to see that this will work in 2D top down game as well in the near future because this asset is packed with cool AI behaviors Love it.

Easy to customize!

It's fairly easy to modify the codes to your liking with the help of the neat documentation & the example projects (Both 2D and 3D). Thanks for developing this!
Just out of sheer curiosity though, what are the performance benefits of this approach like vs using a Raycast or OnTrigger? I'd love to hear if anyone has an idea!

Perfect tools for filling the area with sharp patrols

tools work reliably and are easy to work with.
We wanted to modify the code for our needs, but neither of us is such an experienced programmer, so I have two suggestions:
1. In our prototype we wanted to grade sound distraction, is it possible to add a reaction where the enemy just turns and set the time of this reaction?
2. Enemies react only to the playable character. it would be great to be able to add other objects and react to them (open door - alert, corpse - chase)

Hey thank you for your review!
You can add the script VisionTarget to objects you want the enemy to detect. And also add the prefab NoiseSource for noise emiting, you can call it by script or you can walk on it and it will create noise that alert enemies like in the demo.

i had a small issue, communicated with creator and i got a reply on the same day,
im happy with this asset :)
