Impressive system, highly recommended

I am using Behaviour Designer for over 3 years now and I'm thoroughly impressed by what a powerful and flexible system the creators have put together. It's my go-to tool for all AI agent applications. If I had a one wish free for future versions: I would love a better subtree system where one can create dedicated subtrees with well-defined interfaces.

Any chance on upgrade to Pro discount? I bought the package years ago to support it and never used it. Pretty sure you guys can see if the package was used or not, right? Now I'm actually getting into Unity things slowed down. Just curious if I can get a leg up here.

How do I load using the Addressable method in Editor mode?

There is no issue with loading and using ExternalBehaviorTree via the Adressable method in runtime mode. However, when I load an ExternalBehaviorTree as an Addressable in Editor mode, its BehaviorSource does not load correctly. It seems the BehaviorSource is disabled in Editor mode. How can I enable the ExternalBehaviorTree (BehaviorSource) in Editor mode, just like it is in Runtime mode?

Behavior Designer is a fantastic asset! The functionality is powerful, the UI is intuitive and it integrates smoothly into complex projects. Until Unity came up with (and then abandoned) their own implementation of a behavior tree, I really had no complaint, and this package is still a great choice. But I was wondering if you had any plans on updating the way you render the nodes and try to make them tell a story, like Unity's behavior graph is doing. It's such an great improvement over this package's nodes for legibility.

Unity's Behavior package had some really innovative UI features, and I've already started to look at it to see how it can be implemented in Behavior Designer. A Must Own Asset

I have been using Behavior Designer for years now (alongside it's extensions) and with A* Pathfinding. This combination is an absolute must and yes, it's far more intuitive than ANY other options out there. The authors are a dream to work with and their support/documentation is amazing. As someone who loves using AI in my games, this asset is a game changer. Being able to visualize state machines makes organizing and testing much more efficient. The developers are highly responsive to support queries, and the documentation is thorough and well-written. I highly recommend this asset!

I've been using Opsive's Behavior Designer, and it's truly impressive. I’m not a professional coder, and I’ve been able to pick up the development tools in a few short weeks. I’ve used competing products, and I’ve been much happier with Behavior Designer based on its overall feature list, it’s integrations to other products, it’s add-ons, and overall support. The features of Behavior Designer are incredibly versatile. Whether you're designing simple behaviors or complex decision-making systems, this tool handles it all. The visual editor is intuitive and allows for easy creation and debugging of behavior trees, making the development process smooth and efficient. I’m making a first person shooter, and modeling the complex behaviors you see in AAA games is definitely possible with this tool. I’m using several tools for my project, including Opsive’s Ultimate Character Controller as well as PlayMaker. I’ve had a chance to test out both integrations and they work seamlessly. The provided examples are more than enough to get you started. In addition, the developer has created some example add-on packs for things like NPC tactical behavior that help you jumpstart the development process. The developer support is outstanding as well. The Opsive team is always available to provide assistance and answer questions. Their commitment to continuous updates and improvements ensures that Behavior Designer stays up-to-date with the latest Unity features and industry standards. This tool is amazing for creating smart and reusable AI's! Have been using it for different projects for about seven years. With the extensions pack you can easily create and manage all kind of patterns as well, such as formations, etc.
