I can't believe the generosity of the developer. To produce such an amazing fully featured, well designed midi asset, and document it so well that I have it integrated and replacing my old custom code in minutes. Its the best designed asset that I've found since Odin inspector. And the developer deserves praise for giving this away. I am going to get the pro version just to say thanks.

Great plugin! I had some problems with instruments recently (the creator helped me fix them) but that's now fixed and the plugin is great.

That's because a MIDI has to follow the MIDI standard, 99.99% of them do!
Contact me on my discord or in the Unity forum, there are at least 3 solutions even with the free MPTK!

This is the best asset i have used so i can play midi files in unity. But can you at least make that we can change the soundfont in the free version? because i don't want to pay for the pro version but i want to change the soundfont :(

Do not forget to check out the latest version 2.12, the sound is a lot cooler.
If you are looking to simply play a collection of midi files as background music in your game then this asset is a no-brainer. It took me less than 15 minutes to drag the midiplayer prefab, learn the few basic script references, and then get my midi files into my game and playing. Now i have a midi background music library in my game and it was seamless to set up. Also, this is all the free version. Very satisfied!

This is effectively the idea with the design of Maestro MPTK: simple to use and al lot of possibilities to go further for more complex needs.
That will be the goal also with the MIDI Editor (soon available in the pro version): offer all the features for creating Music directly in Unity but keep it simple!

This package has helped me converting piano midi files into game objects and integrated seamlessly for my rhythm game research for mixed reality device (using MRTK). The tools and examples are easy to use and modify, also the documentation is so detailed. The free version does its job well enough. Thank you very much.

Thanks for the asset, is free but not usable in production, some examples run with 100% of CPU usage, i use a Ryzen 5600G and Unity v2022.2.1

I'm quite surprised, with a poor I5, Maestro consume less of 1% of CPU.
Please contact me on discord, we could find where is the issue (I'm confident in the fact that Maestro is not the cause!)

Sounds excellent and works great on Oculus Quest, Nreal Light, and Microsoft HoloLens 2. Get the pro version so you can easily spatialize MIDI streams and files.
