This asset made my day!!!

Love it! works fine un 2022.3.9f1

Was looking for a simple footstep system for VRIF Toolkit. Found this. It took a few hours to test and some trial and error, but got it working with unity 2021lts, OVR 0.53 and VRIF, built to stand alone quest 2. Works for room scale and sitting. Not the most robust system and is fairly simple, but it works.

the sound is played only when jumping, if it starts working, it starts spamming sound effects, fix the bug; it appears if you transfer scripts to another FPS

It just doesn't work. It plays repeatedly and spams the audio component. if you can get it to work, it only plays if you jump or land.

Not working, footsteps playing sound only when character jumped

First time Unity user, making a game for a college class. The ease in which I was able to add footsteps to our character (under an hour, WITH extra sound effects from another asset!) genuinely astonishes me in comparison to some other free assets we've utilized. I peeked into the code only once when I got confused, but it turned out I didn't need to.

I already read documentation, it says for make sphere above the feet and the red line should cross litte bit. but i just hear sound when i jump and sometime when walk
