I'm the type who wanted to add short clips to my 3D project without the need of having it in top quality (as in "HD") and this is just perfect. Works like a charm.

easy to use, works perfectly also for animated and transparent gifs. even huge gifs with 100+ single frames load within 1-2 seconds.

Real cool thing to have in your game. Works exactly as advertised. Cheng, the developer is super friendly and explained me in an email how to best optimize the gif files to reduce memory overhead for fast loading. I highly recommended this asset and this developer!

The easiest way to add GIF's to a unity project. The demo scene made it very easy to see how to use the assets. I did have a problem putting GIF's into a WebGL build, was able to contact the developer who responded within an hour with a solution to the problem

This GIF playback tools is not just as simple as it might looks, it also includes some critical features which satisfy all the performance need for an already overhaul GIF file, such as : 1. Create atlas. 2. Force the entire atlas to be resized to your desired size. 3. Async loading GIF and generate atlas without affecting the main UI thread. All in all, the developer is so friendly and response quickly to our issues. In facts, 2 out of the 3 features listed above is done via our request to the developer. Great asset and great support. Nothing can beat, highly recommended.

easy to use. i didnt have to do any scripting. make sure to keep your gifs optimized to keep the file size down. plugin only worked for me when "faster but mem" was unchecked. if it was checked, my iOS app would crash due to memory failure. just a heads up. but overall I am very satisfied, and developer answers emails very quickly and is very helpful.

Hi Violet, Thanks for you review. I noticed the memory usage issue. So I just released Gif2Frames 2.0 which supports frame atlas. This feature improves FPS and reduces memory usage. Please try it and let me know if you have any question. Thanks, Cheng

It simply just works, and having a gif for an Optical Illusion game is a must, because without it the objects wouldn't be so hypnotic. At it's price it beats the competition. It's a real workaround to Unity not playing gif's by default and if you're looking for a solution. This is it.
