Its nice to convert swf to usable animations on unity but it only works in unity editor. When I try to build, it doesn't work.

Best tool for Flash -> Unity. But it doesn't work anymore.

This tool used to be the best. But it doesn't seem to work in Unity 2019. Every time I try to convert a file, I just get endless exceptions.
Stay away from the pro version for sure, unless we hear an update from the devs.

GAF truly was the best way to get 1:1 Animations from Adobe Flash/Animate into Unity.
Although a bit janky in places it still meant No spritesheet nonsense, the animation just plays as it would exporting any other swf, then you would play/stop the animation in the animator and that was it.
But it's lost all support from the devs, It no longer works with any recent Unity builds and the forums are completely dead with 0 responses from the devs.
Which is a damn shame since they only added supported for Vector art recently, but GAF doesnt work on any of the builds that support it..
Without this it leaves people like me who makes all thier Animations in Adobe Animate a bit dead in the water...
You can still make simple animations using basic Key Frames and put them into a sprite sheet, but anything that includes anything complex with partial tweening your screwed.
I guess all we can do is wait for Unity to make some kind of Importer which is highly unlikely or for another company to make another Adobe Animate to Unity importer.

You can't use access to the Stage in the AS3 code. This is forbidden by security sandbox.
AS3 function "addChild(mc)" is not supported. Please, add all the animation parts on stage manually without using AS3.
AS3 function "removeChild(mc)" is not supported. Please, don't remove Movie Clips from display list using AS3.
GAF is NOT designed for converting complete applications and games created using Flash technology. You can convert only graphics and animations created in Flash Pro.

Problems with 2019+ versions

I am unable to get support for this asset, glow filters are not working and nested alpha settings are breaking the animations. And with unity 2019, conversions are not working at all. The forum posts are left unanswered, no support at all. Very sad cause it's the most promising flash to unity plugin.
