The price of this asset was increase but for some reason there is no support. I have had a few issues with the asset and tried to receive some assistance but the developer has not answered to me once. Sadly i believe this was abandoned along with the rest of his assets.

Just purchased uMMORPG and starting to learn. In reading the documentation, which is very thorough, was very impressed that the author had built an entire framework for an MMORPG - all the elements you would expect (leveling, items, quests, monsters, instances, inventory, HP/MP, movement, HUD, and the list goes on). And have to say, was super impressed that i downloaded into the recommended version of unity, pressed play, and it just worked - could create a character, run around, and engage skeletons. And have been enjoying reviewing all of the C# code the was developed. I'm a coder and appreciate the nicely structured, formatted and documented code base to work with and extend upon. Very impressive asset. Well worth the money.

MMORPGs are huge projects. If you're making a WOW-sized game, this asset is not for you. Perhaps you should look for other MMORPG frameworks. In general, MMORPGs require multiple servers. Each server has its own role. Chatting server, multiple map server, lobby server, database server etc... Of course, these servers will give you a headache. But If you want to make small limited MMO world game, this asset will fit for you. uMMORPG uses single server architecture. Everything is happen on single server. Chatting, instance dungeons, map movement, etc. are handled in only one server. So you have to implement everything in single scene. All complaints about uMMORPG start here. If you are aware of these limitations and carefully design your game, this asset will be of great help to you.

There is a newer version of this asset for sale which is exactly the same but with better coding style and which works with CharacterController input. This version is outdated and only works with click-based actions. I'm not sure why this version is still sold but I would highly recommend getting the Components Edition instead.

If you looking to dive in to the Multiplayer realm this Asset is probably for you. With a Large community loads of addons and features you can't go wrong for this price. Either great learning material or placemat for your MMORPG

The fundamentals of this kit are very good for beginners as well as starting points of the kit. I have used this a few times and have made simple projects from this (currently not completed) there are pros and cons to most assets as to which for beginner devs has quite a lot of pros. I felt the pros of this asset mostly came from the addon devs as I believe they provided addons to add more customisation and control over this tool. Pros: - Decent Community - Good Support - Easy To Use - Good Fundamentals - It Just Works! Cons: - It Feels Featureless - Inferior To Other uSeries Assets These are my opinions, however if you can code then you can pretty much change up all of the asset if need be. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to make a Runescape type game and doesn't have the time or the knowledge!

If you are looking for something to do some learning with, this is easily worth the money. For a full mmorpg kit I have found it lacking. It relies too much on third party plugins. By itself, it just doesn't have near the features you need. The issue with this is that you have to rely on the third party asset developers sticking around, and the largest asset developer just put his stuff up on open source and walked away, which means his assets are free but no guarantee they will stay current with ummorpg, especially as often as ummorpg pushes out updates. I will give it three stars because of the price, it is priced at what it is worth as a kit. **edit** I am editing this review based on the reply from the developer. I did not lower my score to 3 stars because of the price, I RAISED it because of the price. As a full featured kit, compared to another kit I am using, this is a very lacking kit as a stand alone kit, not enough built in features, but BECAUSE it is cheaply priced, I would give it 3 stars instead of the 1 or 2 stars I think it's worth as a kit.
