The engine isn't as user friendly as advertised, and I could personally get past that if there was a tutorial series tailored to the uMMORPG 2D Remastered version of the engine. It's unusable out of the box, and until the documentation gets better I can't give it any more than a solid 2 stars. Requested refund.

So far it's working as intended, but for some reason the developer chose not to use any sort of namespace for all of the scripts, making it a nightmare to use along other assets; generic class names like "item" or "equipment" are globally defined.

There is no one you can ask or reach about any issue regarding the package. No technical support.

I've been wasted many time on from scratch project, writing my own engine, and remaking the wheel, this project saved me. No more words needed.

This author rebranded this as remastered because the previous asset was getting destroyed in reviews, but it's still the same unoptimized code that does not support well when you have more than a few concurrent users on at the same time. The "plugins" in the community the author speaks about are outdated, in some cases, paid plugins, worth almost 50% of the plugin price. This author has a history of putting assets in the store that are unfinished, and unsupported, check out his other assets (uMOBA) and read the reviews. There is nothing "Remastered" about this garbage. Can't even refund this trash of an asset otherwise I would. The documentation is also utter nonsense with no clear way of communicating the logic behind some of the architectural decisions, I.e. some important aspects have less than 2 lines of explanations and are filled with errors. The author will not help you out. You are told to go speak with the community on discord. Which makes me think that the author outsourced this project as he does not have the knowledge to even answer some questions with a yes/no answer. If you are looking for an asset to shift through for hundreds of hours prior to actually making something, buy this today and waste your time! Also note that the author offers incentives to those that give 5 stars! Just read the discord! Extremely unprofessional. Borderline scammer!

This is really the perfect base project to start with for creating a 2D MMORPG. If you are somewhat Unity/C# savvy you will learn quickly how to edit and add your own content. Highly recommend, keep it up!

It is a great template, althought it requires some time to understand how it works, it is the perfect starting point to create your own mmorpg. I have been using it for just 2 weeks, and I already have been able to create my first mmorpg zone with my own mobs. I had to ask for some help and advices in discord channel, but community is really helpful and you can get a lot of insight about how to modify the code in the best way.
