It's promising and there's a lot of work put into it. But if you're not a programmer like me, it's hard to get everything done. In Unity 6.2 it gives a lot of errors and not everything works properly.For me personally it's a disappointment, I hope there will be updates so it works in Unity 6.2

6.2 should work, but it had some engine issues that were addressed in Unity 6.3 like this one https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/crash-on-detaildatabase-setuppreloadtextureatlasdata-when-building-a-specific-scene
6.3 works flawlessly, and I highly recommend using it. It's the version I'm currently using for development, and the next update will be released with it.

You could call this pretty much the speed hack to prototype your RPG idea. Community seems to be quite active and have created some tutorial videos for using this asset.
The only downside, well for a programmer like me, is maybe that there is quite alot boilerplate code but i dont think it matters so much because this asset is for sure mostly targeted to people who dont want to do the coding so much.
Anyway, there is quite a lot done and cleaning the code if you are a programmer will be alot faster than writing all this by yourself, dev have left good comments there. Great asset!

SatoSummerバージョン 1.9a で
It's a very solid template with a lot of systems, but untill the author actually makes good on a promise of completing doccumentation I recommend everyone to spare yourself the frustration and not buy it. The description promises "a detailed docummentation", but what you get is a couple of chaotic articles that cover maybe 1/4 of asset's functions, with a load of links that go to empy pages. Not to mention that what actually IS there is incomplete, meaning you will find lots of parts like "It's not important now", "We will do it by copying because it's easier, I will not show you how to actually make it" etc. It is rather clear that the author has no intention of completing the doccumentation because for all I see it's been like that for a while. The gaslighting around the whole doccumentation thing is unbelievable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. I'm really sorry to hear the documentation didn't match your expectations.
The "Getting Started" section is designed to walk and teach you the workflow of the Kit, and touches pretty much every system providing you an overview and the most important workings of them. Currently, there are also lots of tutorials that guide you through the systems of the kit, like creating new races, new worlds, new AI, new weapons and items, etc.
Although I do think it's a great introduction, I totally understand that in order to get proficient with the Kit itself the documentation alone is not currently enough, and it takes some good hands-on experimentation and self driven exploration of the functionalities that can go beyond the currently written guides.
I'm constantly working to make this product better, and I totally get that documentation is key, so I want to assure you that documentation will get better and more and more articles will be written. I'll actively start working right now to fix the missing links you may have encountered.
I also want to mention the Discord Server and community which is an immense source of information as well, were lots of questions have been asked and answered already. Using the "search" function there can really be helpful to find solutions to a lot of questions people have had in the past.
Not to mention there are many users, including myself, that help each other for active and immediate help.
I really want to thank you for purchasing this product and I do promise to improve the documentation for you and for those who come after.

I could really recommend this asset for all RPG creators. This is literally a Skyrim maker. And what is more important - perfect support on Discord and great community there. + Author adds new features for free to the asset. Amazing!

I just want to start off by saying this asset is an amazing RPG asset for the price, and covers all the features you will need.
The asset has some really great and fast support from both the community and the creator.
Another great thing I love about the asset is the documentation, it's very thorough and well written in my opinion.
If you want to make a skyrim or fallout-like RPG game faster that you ever could, get this asset!

No need to look any further; this pack has everything you need to make a Skyrim/Oblivion/Fallout type of game; from A to Z it has all the features you need, the documentation and (incredibly active) support to master it and set it up the way you want. If you're looking to make an RPG, but want to focus solely on game design and creation, and not the coding/systemic part of it; this pack is the ultimate tool for you! Some of the features alone in this pack are worth the price, but instead of that you get a FULL (no exaggeration) game template ready to be fitted to your own wishes and needs. Simply put; one of the absolute best packs on the store.
ps I can't emphasize this enough; the community and developer are incredibly helpful on Discord, and the roadmap, suggestions and discussions are all communicated very well and professionally there too! You won't regret buying this pack!

This kit is amazing! I am a Skyrim modder, and this is extremely close to Skyrim's style of game design. It can be modified to fit other genres of games as well! I'm using this for a "cyberpunk" style game. The author also posts regular updates for the kit. This is the most worth it option for an RPG. Stay classy Silvematt!

It's like Skyrim CK!!!

I'm truly impressed; this asset is phenomenal!
I've always wondered why no one had attempted to create an asset that mirrors Bethesda's Skyrim (and Fallout) Creation Kit. As a seasoned Skyrim modder, I'm intimately familiar with the CK, and I can confidently say that this RPG Creation Kit shares many core similarities. The ID-based system for quests and items, and the cell-based world streaming, are all remarkably reminiscent of the CK.
This asset is incredibly comprehensive, providing everything you need to build expansive worlds. The streaming cell loading allows for theoretically unlimited world size, and the integrated saving, inventory, quest, and interactive AI systems are robust and well-designed. The code is also commendably clear, making it relatively easy to extend and customize.
It's akin to having the Skyrim Creation Kit in open source!
But let me point the light on an important spot:
you will not start from scratch, it means that the entire project is populated, all the database are filled, and you have to clean and remove a lot of stuff.
For example if you want to use Synty's characters, which are completely different, you'll have to remove all the armors from the database, reimport all the meshes in a 3D Editor and split armors from the character (I'm thinking about Modular fantasy character) and then recreate the equipment in the RPG CK database.
The fact that you cant start from scratch with an empty project could be a little mess.

There are so many features in this asset. It's like the author went through a Bethesda game and implemented each feature one-by-one. The documentation is pretty extensive and the discord has a lot of knowledgeable users. Anything you want to do in the engine, you can.
