unilateral rule changes
Barriticoon previous version 2.1
I bought this game in 2019. Now, all of a sudden, it's not compatible with mobile. These unilateral rule changes are neither appropriate nor ethical.

Horrible code, gameobject hierarchy
DeeCeptoron previous version 2.0.1
Visuals and models are good, but holy cow is the code terrible. The other viewers ARE NOT KIDDING when they say source code is bad. Gameobjects in scenes are not organized at all, with Demo having hundreds of unparented gameobjects!

Good models, terrible code

SkylorBeckon previous version 2.0.1
I bought this on sale for $20 and the only thing usable in it is the models and textures. Everything else is broken.

Good Material, Bad Source Code
Good_Punkon previous version 2.0.1
Everything here that you need to build a pinball table but if you want to add stuff or modify functionality: I'm sorry I have to say the source code is a convoluted mess. There are no functions, everything is in a giant monolithic update method and there are quite a few bugs and racing conditions in there. At that price point I would expect more.

Good Asset w/ Serious Code Quality Issues
4 years ago
UnaverageJoeon previous version 2.0.1
It's a good asset in most senses--except for the very important aspect of code quality. The code quality is poor. Lots of bad practice (overusing GameObject.Find, overusing tags) makes it not hold up well when modifying scenes. The code style is also terrible. If this is okay with you, buy it--but for my purposes, I had way too many code headaches to give it a good review. That being said, I can understand why the developer(s) don't want to spend too much time smithing the code, since most people using this asset don't look at the code much.

Underwhelming and overpriced

Lustwaffelson previous version 2.0.1
I should have been more sceptical. This asset held a unique spot on the Unity asset store for years now. Yet in all this time the creator has not been interested enough to take advantage of the situation and improve it in meaningfull ways. There is no custom snapping or modular system in this asset, which it would deserve(for the price)being that it is a physics based game of skill. Where creation means a lot of trial and error. Everything is standard vanilla Unity. This is a sad, sad affair. Not worth the money. You could build just as well without it. Also, seeing that the visual pinball editor has now been almost fully transfered to unity and that it even comes with a custom UI and several types of editor layouts from the go and that it is FREE...how could I give this more than one star?

So far so good

The coding is very well documented and it appears to be easy to mess with. Lots of time obviously went into making this asset.

Really powerful, difficult to integrate
manurocker95on previous version 2.0.1
The asset is really good if you plan to use it alone. If you need to integrate it with other assets, this will be a pain. It's not so extensible and hard to modify. However, this makes traditional pinball games really easy to make. The demo mobile scene works really well on a really low-end device.
