That endless journey where you had to dodge incoming cars at high speed by moving left and right across the lanes? 2D Racer - Asteroid Style is a take on that classic game. It gives you nostalgia along with some cool new things. The grey bricks for cars have been replaced by the good looking cars and you are not moving across blank space but beautiful roads. Even though the style of the game is changed but that classic fun of spending hours of your time in the game is still the same. This time the cars are not only things you have to dodge but your path will be blocked by dead ends and dirt paths that will make you skid and lose control over your vehicle. So beware of those. Now for the big up that is added in the remake of classic, if your path is blocked by an incoming car and dead end barriers on the either side, well this time you can just fire and blast off the incoming car to clear your way. There's a weapon mounted on top the car that automatically fires for you to clear the way for you. Think of this game as a scene from a highway chase scene from a movie. Also there are special booster abilities like Armor and Boost Speed as well bonus scores and points in the form of mystery boxes which make the game more exciting.
