After testing it and trying to apply its functions with my own characters and scenes I have realized that, as the previous comment says, an engine is supposed to make things easier, and this "engine" what it does is to complicate them, since everything is very closed to the demo scene, starting with the character, which yours must be exactly the same if you want it to have the same characteristics. The scripts can't be adapted outside that scene because everything is linked to the demo character. On top of that, documentation is very scarce and doesn't help at all. Besides that, they never answer the messages, no matter what you send and how long you wait.

It would be nice a character selection, it would be awesome

I've been messing around with the Corgi Engine for a while now as I'm working on a Platformer and want to save time. There were some features in the youtube video showing what this "Engine" could be and I decided it was worth a buy. Eh... I am disappointed because it isn't really so much an engine as it is a scene using some systems and scripts that the developer has put together to make a decent prototype, then screen capped a video for it, and sells it as an engine. The prototype scene is very un organized, there are lots of unnamed objects and missing prefabs in the scene which to me signals lack of polish to the "Engine" I suppose maybe I am spoiled with what Corgi Engine has to offer, although it too is not perfect. What earns it the 1 star rating is that calling it an engine implies this is a user friendly System. What is in the package seems to be simply a bunch of scripts and assets. They are decent enough, but calling this asset an engine is a misnomer.

This is amazing for thr price. Perfect for a 2.5D...being a 2d movement in a 3d world.

If you're looking for a great mobile friendly 2.5 Platformer Engine (other than the Corgi), then this one is fully featured and the Dev is constantly adding more to it. The animations are spot-on, and the controls are extremely smooth. The ONLY reason I give it four stars is more of a personal request. I know it's 2.5d. But I would absolutely LOVE to see this in full 3D. To mess around with those tight controls in a full 3D space with camera movement. I know it would require major recoding, but it's a pipe-dream. Wonderful asset as it stands, however. You would not regret spending the money on this.

The Engine works properly and it gives you more then expected (from videos). Everytything is fine. The only problem is support. It simply does not exist, actually. It's a pity cuz of the value of the platformer. But if you wanna personalize it a bit, you need some answer that, probably, wont arrive.

This Pack is a real use out of the box kit. The scripting code very clean and clear. One bug if found when approaching the Corner "Turn Trigger" you need to create a new gameObject with collider at every turning corner. I found out you can jump out of the level. But that's more level design issue. This pack comes with all the tools you need to start a good platformer game. Nice Job!!

This asset does what is displayed and decently documented. I needed a little help to edit the code for a couple of small changes that are not documented. I attempted to contact the developer a number of times over the past two weeks and got no reply. Support is nonexistant. I wish they used a forum for support so that users could communicate and attempt to help each other if they are too busy to reply. I sent two more emails after the publisher asked me to try again on here. Still no reply...
