i love this asset. but i got question. its been over years since your working on weapon system. anyways please come back and make new asset like mobile first person controller V2/ Version 2 where you add tap to move and drawer and equip items. it will be amazing if you come back. anyways this asset is good.

Question: How can we limit x axis too in FP_Camera Look. You have already limit Y axis [-35,35] but what about X? we can see 360 degree freely
Answer...
1) Create 3 variables:
public float minX = -90;
public float maxX = 90;
private Vector3 horizontalLook;
2) Replace
transform.Rotate(0.0F, lookAt.x * (sensitivity / 10), 0.0F);
With
horizontalLook += Vector3.up * (lookAt.x * sensitivity / 10);
horizontalLook.y = Mathf.Clamp(horizontalLook.y, minX , maxX);
transform.eulerAngles = horizontalLook;

It will only provide FPS character movement and does not have a weapon system. For me that is fine as I am not intending to use it beyond movement.
What is really good is that the camera movement goes both horizontal and vertical and the handy quick scroll buttons can make you look behind you instantly.
Most other assets on the store block vertical movement on mobile to avoid complication and give you legacy look left and right experience only (very old skool).
Worth it!

Nice asset but..

Easy to use, easy to expand, but after use this instead of basic FPSController from StandardAssets, it's super laggy.
My game is still in prototype and nothing much to render, just few cubes and weapons and plane ground, that's all.
Also when I imported this asset, lots of my game settings changed permanently, so I had to find them and chage it by creating empty project and inspect every possible values in each setting!!!
It's really nice asset but well, at least you should fix performance issue maybe. Please fix this.
Game tested on Samsung Galaxy S7.
P.S. I just removed this and re-run with my old controller and now it's laggy too. This is 100% sure that causes from Project Setting assets from your asset. I was used default settings except some additional tags and input axis for mobile control and others are all default. Please remove those Project setting assets that doesn't needed actually. Now I can't run my game with my original controller.
P.P.S. Finally, now fixed performance issue. I created new android project and compare each settings one by one. Change the setting to my default values now performance issue is gone. This was caused from quality setting, default quality of Android build is "medium" which v-sync is "not disabled". Using v-sync solve my problem. Please remove your quality setting asset to prevent this kind of issue happens again.

I still think it's amazing asset, however you still didn't fixed this issue. Now I know project setting files you included(and it must be NOT) cause the lagging issue, so I didn't imported and works fine. Geez, I just wondering, why didn't you updated yet? This shouldn't be something like very hard work to do. Another critical problem could be happen is that all of project settings developer set before could be overriden, it's very big problem in most cases.
WHY YOU INCLUDED InputManager/NavMeshAreas/NetworkManager/ProjectSettings/QualitySettings/TagSettings/TimeManager/UnityAdsSettings/UnityConnectSettings?
I gave you 2 stars, because it can way much improved by just removing them, but you didn't, makes me really feeling angry. I can re-rate if you fix the problem, however I give you a one star now. Hope you update this asset some day.
