I am in good contact with the developers and the asset is indeed extremely outdated.
I am currently developing a updated version of the asset with a lot of new features, a editor look overhaul, dialogs and new graphics.
That version will run in both 2018 versions and 2019 versions.
I will update it when this is all coming out.
