Render pipeline compatibility
The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. Supported render pipelines:

All other platforms are supported through the CPU fallback system.
Generates individual blades of grass directly on the GPU to achieve the dense fields of grass you've always wished for.
