Render pipeline compatibility
The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. Description

A collection of damage VFX for any mechanical or electrical item.


Sparks Burst

Bursts of colliding sparks including smoke, spark flare and real-time light.


Sparks Continues

A continuous stream of colliding sparks including smoke, spark flare and real-time light.


Damage Explosion Small

A small electrical explosion including electricity, smoke and a variety of sparks.


Damage Explosion Large

A large electrical explosion including electricity, smoke, a variety of sparks, colliding metal debris (cogs, springs, metal pieces etc) and real-time light.


Oil Drip and Oil Pool

An oil leak with a growing drip of oil that then falls and splashes, plus an oil pool that slowing grows in size (two speeds included).


Sparking Cables

A physics based swinging cable, the motion of which is controlled every time a random blast of electricity comes from the cable's end. The cable is entirely controlled with Unity's physics, allowing it to realistically sway and collide with other cables and the surrounding environment. The random delay between each spark is controlled by min and max parameters and the force of the spark (which controls the amount the cable "jiggles") is similarly controlled by a random value between two user controlled values. There's two different types of cables - one flat and one "ribbed" - with 5 different pre-configured lengths of each. The spark VFX are achieved with multiple elements including spark flash, spark streaks, falling sparks (that collide with the scene's environment), smoke and real-time lighting.


Built-in, HDRP and URP shader pipeline version are all included.



Technical details
  • 18 VFX Prefabs
  • 10 different cable prefabs (2 types and 5 different lengths of each type)
  • The project's Timestep values will need to be tweaked for the physics to work
  • Texturesheets (4 in total) are provided at 4K
