I am currently using Unity 2018.2.15f1, and everything works out the box I would recommend to anyone looking for great looking grass. Keeping in mind, this applies the tree terrain painter, not grass painter. And do to the grass being mesh based this will limit placement if you are looking for a more detail set up but works great for open landscape with little paths this is, of course, referring to Grass1 PFB all the other PFBs are great. If I could give feedback to the author it would be to make a PrePBF were the grass1 has only one or 2 not a large group of grass.

I bought this asset when I was using Unity 5, now I have upgraded my project to Unity 2018.1 but it seems that the shader is not compatible anymore with it as this shader is not compiling "Could not create a custom UI for the shader 'Custom/Grass_Wind'". Any fix for it? :(

im using this grass for my rts/fps game for mobile and it is fantastic if you give this pack a bad review that means you are new to unity and dont know how to use it with good performance

Extremely good quality! Guys, do yourself a favor and buy this for ten bucks. Works great with my asset MeshBrush btw ;) This enhances a scene's look so dramatically!

It is really performance heavy to use it on larger terrains. However though you can change LOD and add culling at maybe 20% so your grass should disappear completely when you're out of sight - and that's okey. After tweaking some things in LOD settings, renderers and so on you can get an really optimized and beautiful grass. But it's really not drag&drop resource, you need to sit down and tweak a lot of settings to get nice and optimized grass. However it looks amazing, and I really recommend it for the advanced users. Beginners can be disappointed.
