There's a lot to like about this asset in terms of style and originality. However, there's a few things that are off about it. The scale of many of the props are off by quite a bit compared to a standard 6ft character. For example, the shower and doorways are about 9 to 12ft high. Some of the props have misaligned textures. It's still useable with a bit of faffing around.

[UPDATE] Even though my rating is already good, I can't just leave it as it is. When you look at the details and the love for every little millimeter in the scenes. This is an absolute masterpiece. A truly perfect, beautiful asset. A dream. The motel logo is even on the soap, so... in countless, 4-digit amounts of assets, I have only very rarely discovered so much love in something. ... I had to add that. This is by far one of the most beautiful assets I have ever seen in the entire store. It is: gigantic. And at such a fair price. ... [End of update] I almost thought so when I saw it. Well, the selection of motels isn't particularly large. What I was actually looking for was a really horror-like one, in a bad state, with, let's say, 1 material is already too much. Something like that. (Scrooge-like, in fact). I knew that this was way beyond what I was allowed to allow my scene. So, as always, all that's left is the conversion, I fear. That will take weeks again. But oh well. What can you say about the motel? So what is the asset like? **IT'S A DREAM** If you can afford to place it in your scene, you'll have around 104 textures (if I haven't miscounted). But they're actually well made. You just have to be able to accommodate them, and then it doesn't look so great. Plus: 35 materials. You need the space for that too, which are fueled by them. That makes at least 35 draw calls. But they are necessary for the scene. Can you complain about it now? **No!** The selection was well made, the asset is fantastically built. It's just that it's 2000% over the top for my purposes. That was clear to me. An open world in Unity, there really isn't anything better to torture yourself with if you're not using a streaming system. About the asset itself: You get everything your heart desires, from super great furnishings where even the drawers open, to a great looking Mustang vehicle. Furniture; wall pictures, beds, it's simply a dream. Overall, the scene is really excellently built, and very, very great. If you're looking for a motel in your game and have the space for the materials and textures (approx. 0.8GB graphics memory + a lot of draw calls), you'll get a great motel here, at an extremely fair price. If you're "just" looking for furniture (funnily enough), you can go for it too. You won't get full furnishings, for example, but you'll have a lot that you can use without worrying, which looks great and is also very well built. As a model maker, I can only give it 5/5 stars. Overall: A FANTASTIC SCENE that (as I can see from the reviews over time) hasn't lost any of its quality over time. To the maker: If you're still reading this: great work. A clear 5/5 stars. I don't regret the purchase, I'll definitely find a nice place for it, it's just too much in my scene. Absolutely brilliant! 5 / 5 stars. Absolute recommendation!

I have ZERO complaints! This is really beautiful and well made. Gabor is a true artist and this will satisfy any and all of your hotel/motel needs. He is also very responsive on email, very helpful and a good guy! Really stylish, nice models. Everything has been thought through perfectly. The models strike a good balance between performance and quality.

Everything works well. Quick to toss in either the day or night pre built demo scenes. Things run and look great. Worth the money spent, all day long. Only complaint : It be nice if all the prefabs were assigned already. I had to bring in the demo and split all the props into prefabs in order to design my own motel. NOT the end of the world by a long shot. Still worth the money.

How can anyone not rate this 5 stars! Awesome work and great attention to detail. We used to stay in a lot of motels while vacationing so this is quite accurate as to what was included. Texturing is fantastic and flawless. There is a closed and open curtains, so if you wanted to script to have one disable and the other enable. The flowerpots and trashbins are included (wasn't sure before I purchased). The only thing missing is an ice machine (ice box). Mum and dad would send me and my brother down to get ice. Found an ice machine on the asset store for $4.
