I originally wrote a negative review but I am now updating since figuring out how to fix all the pink assets. I want to like the asset... but I currently cannot recommend it because importing it into a standard unity URP project resulted in almost every single prefab/material being broken. They are all pink save for a few that use a different shader other than the Standard shader. I have tried reimporting it multiple times with no success. One of the requirements for selling on the asset store is to make sure you are keeping assets up to date and viable with unity platform. If the asset is depreciated and no longer works, or you no longer provide support, you are not supposed to be charging for it. I don't know what the issue is here... but there are plenty of free assets that come in without a single problem. Bringing a paid asset like this in to the most used rp setup in unity should not be breaking it. I will gladly update the review when the issue is resolved. If I figure out how to resolve it, I'll post the steps. If it was a Unity issue, I'll change the rating and make sure everyone knows. If it was an issue with the asset bundle and I had to diagnose and figure it out myself, I will likely not be changing the rating all that much on principle. I buy assets to save development time... not so that I can waste a bunch of time trying to figure out what's wrong with them :/

It's been a while i have purchase this asset. And even on 2019.4.13 it works great. The aprefab are very rich and you can make something nice with it.

For the low price, you get great looking models. A thing to note though is that it may be hard to build a city using just this pack alone. However, it is sufficient to construct a cool looking scene. Also, MK4 mentioned on their FB (dated Feb 18, 2021) that an update will be coming, still waiting on that...

This asset is amazing as well as dark city 2, so much you get out of this asset really high quality asset.

Beautful asset

This is very unfortunate. I bought this originally when it came out 7 years ago and saved it as I worked on projects. Then my PC died and a all my backup files were corrupted so seeing it was still available and for far less than previous purchase, I went ahead and bought it again because I am a fan of their work. However, for later versions 2018 and later thew following problems exist. 1) Demo Scene is almost entirely empty other than outer walls and lighting. 2) Prefabs are ruined. IE, prefabs dragged into scene are blank, animations do not work and particle effects cannot be repaired/restored. 3) Scripting is way out of data and difficult to impossible to properly update yo current API resulting in error messages and warnings. 4) Some models are missing or entirely lost (removed during download/import). 5) Materials are duplicated into a confusing mess and do not apply their original textures correctly. Materials are not pink. They are simply damaged and will not restore and end up using the same material for several meshes, especially on such as signs. As far as billing issue it is on Unity's side. As far as contacting Manufactura K4, it is recommended by them to contact directly on their Facebook page via Messenger as the gmail has proven to be problematic and messages get lost. They will be reviewing this asset and seeing what the issues are and will let us know if it can be updated or repaired for compatibility.

Lots of content that really look great especially for the price. Textures still can pass for current generation.

I loaded up the Demo scene in Unity and found out there was zero ground elements, no streets, lamps, rail, nothing, this asset is a bit outdated, please update and fix all assets in the package, the scale is huge, the entire package needs downsized by about 100xyz at a bare minimum to fit normal scaling of Unity. The only thing that shows is the buildings. Overall it has promise, but it is not 2019 Unity ready.

Updating this because I found out something very useful for those not getting prefabs to work. If you update the project to hdrp or lwrp in more recent versions it does not fully update, but going thru and editing the non updated materials manually fixes the presets. In 2020.1 Alpha the HDRP was rather broken in the inspector but in 2020.1 Alpha LWRP, I got everything to fix for this set to work perfectly, with the only exeptions being since the texture nodes have changed, 1 style of Brick is nearly impossible to fix. So if you like this set, use an up to date LWRP and it's 99.9% fixable.
