The level of detail and the quality of the Sci-Fi heavy station kits and the augmented kits they're built from is truly incredible. Not only do you get AAA quality models and fully useable scenes when you get these kits, they come with fully functioning interactions and sound effects too. Amazing quality work for a really reasonable price. I highly recommend them all, the sheer volume of different components is really quite surprising.

Hangars feature huge sliding Gateways as a prominent feature of the asset, hope you'll find these useful!
The AUGMENTED version comes with huge-huge, 40m x 19m Gateways. That is enough to fit Heavy Station Shuttles! Also it has Garage and Pipelines modular mini-kits!

Really beautiful all around. Love the doors that open in multiple parts. Amazing how big stations one can build with this and everything still runs so light. Highly recommend for all who want to build something in this style.

I don't understand the low reviews. Like almost every package on the store, someone might find a minor issue somewhere but a little bit of thought and patience and you often find it's something you're doing wrong yourself rather than the dev's error. Ultimately this asset is a KIT as opposed to a completed game level so it was nice to pop into the demo scenes to have a look at some ideas while planning your own layouts but I would not expect to just pop a character controller into the demo scene and voila...game done. Bought all 3 Augmented kits and it's like having an enormous box of Sci-Fi Lego!

I think I bought V1 like 2-3 years ago, and just today went looking today for some props, and didn't even recognize this asset at first.
The update in V2 was pretty fantastic, and there is SO many really nicely stylized props, and new structures that will definitely get some use from me.
I didn't even know that I needed a crane, but the new crane, and rails are so neat, i'm definitely gonna put them somewhere.
I would recommend.

Reading some other comments, I went back and checked the assets for poor optimization since I mostly was admiring them visually, I'm really thrown off by these complaints.
I'm pretty finicky about Optimization, and have no idea what people are complaining about, The meshes seems very optimized to me, and have LoDs, and there is very good re-use of textures. The pack is mildly big, and you may need to exclude the textures from source control depending on how much storage you have.

For the next update most textures will be converted to PNG from TGA, reducing space of the Package. The use of TGA is reserved for metalness/roughness map.

-Heavy loading issues, importing takes 45 min to load and
compile this asset, each time you load it from Asset Store,
or start a Unity project with it inside - you wait a LOT ot TIME.
It rides the CPU in a heavy, exhausting way as well, sorry but:
I don't like the CPU being overheated like this, by any asset.
I would advise the dev, if I may:
-Heavy extensions, like TGA, and PSD should not be used,
perhaps to convert them to .png or .jpg which will not ride the
system so heavily as this, and reduce the enormous asset
size as well, under the present asset structure like this.
-700 MB is simply too large to add to any project and with
such heavy graphics extension choices as mentioned it's
a not a best thing to do, CPU and GPU wise and with .TGA or
.PSD - you don't get the better graphics, or performance either,
that's what they think but - is not so.
So, for the all assets on the Store, I would mostly recommended:
-no outdated Legacy shaders used (it kills the performance, CPU & GPU)
-no .PSD texture formats (it kills the performance, CPU & GPU)
-no .TGA texture formats (it kills the performance, CPU & GPU)
-no excessive lights numbers in the scenes and with the heavy shadows options on
-no more than 3 reflection probes per scene (it kills the performance, CPU & GPU)
-no scenes left on the "Automatic" lighting updated constantly option, tick it off,
bake the lights once like that so the scene performance does not suffer
-avoid stacking the scene organisation in sub-folders too much, it kills the
performance, as well, rather keep it open as possible in the scene hierarchy
-I would love to se this asset updated, as per my suggestion above as:
-that imports from Store in less than 5 minutes (currently it takes at least 30 min)
-to be less than 150MB in size (by above suggested best texture practices)
-to see all scenes performing well with no overheating of the peripherals
-the scenes to be all in the main asset folder and have the scene with player
from the video, that opens all doors and does the all things as the player in the
video does
-hope it helps, the only thing that sells your asset out there - is: modularity

You might enjoy:
Reduced drawcalls - most models were packaged into themes. Each theme uses a single material
LoDs - reduced triangles count for most objects. Appropriate prefabs are located in LoDs folders
PBR -like materials - adding more variety to the textures, compared to Hangars v1.2
ID maps - the easy way for developers to modify the textures

The demo reaches up to 15,000 "SetPass calls".
Many lights and in real time. Many polygons ...
Logical. It's a demo.
But after creating models (rooms, corridors, etc.) and making each one a prefab with its own lightmap everything changes.
And if we add a simple LOD system to hide or show zones when passing through the doors, then we would be talking about a few "SetPass calls", often less than 100, with very high FPS.
And the appearance of the textures (having a lightmap) is not lost with a "Directional Light" and other light in the player (point or spot).
In summary.
Very good if you're not afraid to work a little ...

That's it i try ed optimizing this shit but it wont really work on anything but UFO Computer so, if you want to buy this think 2x times because it is NOT optimized and my computer is pretty good.

In case You would like some tip:
- Maybe operation system itself/drivers is not quite right. There is always a chance that pc cleanup will do the trick.
This asset made it easier to make my first person shooter game. This assessment was my major in my masters. I also published a mobile game on google play called Warshock space shooter. This was my first game I made in my master's program in unity. This environment in this asset is really good. The only problem I had with it is when entering the doors it has a bug in it because I believe this is outdated. But wasn't too bad.Other than that a brilliant asset to use. I would highly recommend anyone to download this asset.

This asset pack is literally amazing! The price is affordable and the quality of environmental light is good. Some doors are incompatible with some of the floors however, but the rest parts are fine.
Would like to see more high quality assets published.
